WATCH: Rep. Comer Announces Grand Jury Deliberations Have Begun Against Deep State Officials Involved in Russiagate

In some huge news that he announced during an appearance on Fox Business’s “Mornings with Maria” show with Maria Bartiromo, Rep. James Comer, Chairman of the House Oversight Committee, announced that grand jury deliberations have begun so that cases can potentially be brought against the Deep State officials involved in the “treasonous conspiracy” that Tulsi Gabbard has uncovered.

As background, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard and others in the Trump Administration have moved to reveal what was going on in the waning days of the Obama Administration, showing that a great many of those in it, from former DNI James Clapper to the former president himself, helped knowingly push an investigation based on false claims forward.

Many MAGA conservatives have kept calling for a real investigation and prosecutions to happen in the wake of those revelations, and now it might finally be happening, as the grand jury looking into what happened is the first step toward prosecution of the various officials involved with the massive, “treasonous” scandal.

That came when Maria Bartiromo asked Comer why the American people should expect accountability in this case, saying, “I mean, [Adam Schiff] was the Chairman of the [House] Intelligence Committee at one point. Now he’s a senator. There’s been no accountability. Why should we expect any accountability anywhere?”

Replying, Rep. Comer explained that the grand jury deliberations are happening. He began by noting that various conservatives have been pushing for this to happen for a long time and are now in a position to do something about it. He said, “Well, this is the opportunity that conservatives have been waiting for for a long time.”

Continuing, and explaining why they are now potentially in a position to do something about the matter, Comer said, “Now we have people like John Radcliffe who, along with Devin Nunes, have been saying this was what was taking place for a long time. Now, with access to the National Archives, we have the evidence in the form of emails to prove this is what’s happening.”

Further, Rep. Comer called on Pam Bondi do something about it, as if no action is taken, then conservatives will be quite disillusioned. He said, “It’s up to Pam Bondi now to take this evidence and hold people accountable, and if, if, for whatever reason, people like Adam Schiff and Clapper and Comey and Christopher Wray, if they get by with what they’ve done and are never held accountable, I think there’s going to be a lot of disappointment among conservatives.”

Then, explaining why conservatives would be so angry about what is going on, Comer noted that there are years of expectations going into this, and its time for action to happen. He said, “we’ve sat back and we’ve watched this happen over the last five to, five to eight years, and nothing’s happened now the evidence is clear. It’s time to hold people accountable.”

Concluding that point, Comer noted that the grand jury deliberations are happening, saying, “It’s my understanding, Maria, that there are grand jury deliberations taking place. It’s not my understanding that the Department of Justice is serious about taking this evidence that’s emerged and holding these people accountable, and I certainly hope that’s what happens.”
