Judge Jeanine Announces DOJ Has Identified, Arrested, and Charged Man Who Assaulted Federal Agents with a Sandwich [WATCH]

U.S. Attorney Jeanine Pirro has announced that Sean Charles Dunn, 37, has been charged with felony assault after allegedly throwing a Subway sandwich at a U.S. Customs and Border Protection agent in Washington, D.C., during a patrol on U Street.

For context, before the culinary attack, Dunn, who some sources have alleged worked at the Department of Justice, shouted curses at the law enforcement officers, condemning the agent as a “fascist.” After he was arrested, he admitted to the attack, prompting a thorough condemnation from Pirro.

This violent protest came against the background of President Trump’s August 11, 2025, decision to federalize the DC police to combat a wave of violent crime plaguing the Capital city. In addition to taking control of local police, Trump has mobilized hundreds of National Guardsmen to fight violent crime.

In any case, in an August 10, 2025, announcement, the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia described the attack and the uncompromising consequences for the alleged perpetrator. Pirro declared, “An individual went up to one of the federal law enforcement officers and started jumping up and down, screaming at him, berating him, yelling at him, and then he took a Subway sandwich about this big, and took it and threw it at the officer. ”

Concluding her remarks, she added, “He thought it was funny. Well, he doesn’t think it’s funny today, because we charge him with a felony assault on a police officer, and we’re going to back the police to the hilt, so there stick your Subway sandwich somewhere else, you.”

While there has been little in the way of direct statements from Dunn, he has apparently admitted his guilt. The sandwich-throwing protestor confessed, “I did it. I threw a sandwich.” However, Dunn is far from the only leftist activist to oppose Trump’s decision to federalize DC law enforcement.

Reacting to the situation, AG Pam Bondi took to social media to condemn the attack. She announced, “If you touch any law enforcement officer, we will come after you. I just learned that this defendant worked at the Department of Justice — NO LONGER. Not only is he FIRED, he has been charged with a felony. This is an example of the Deep State we have been up against for seven months as we work to refocus DOJ. You will NOT work in this administration while disrespecting our government and law enforcement.”

As we reported, Pirro recently clashed with a woke reporter who claimed that violent crime in Washington, DC, was at its lowest point in decades, and alleged that the Department of Justice had previously claimed crime was low, only to reverse course.

Responding in a confident diatribe, Pirro demolished the woke reporter. Dramatically grabbing the mic, she declared, “[You’ll never hear the] end of it, what changed? It’s never enough. This changed. This changed. It’s never enough. You tell these families that crime has dropped? You tell the mother of the intern who was shot going out for McDonald’s near the Washington Convention Center. ‘Oh, crime is down.'”

Continuing her impassioned remarks, the former TV host added, “You tell the kid who was just beaten the hell and back with a severe concussion and a broken nose, crime is down. No. That falls on deaf ears, and my ears are deaf to that, and that’s why I fight the fight. Thank you.”
