WATCH: Obama AG Eric Holder Goes Berserk Over Trump Investigation of Major Obama Scandal

President Donald Trump and his administration are finally going scorched Earth on the Obama-era Deep State figures involved with the Russia Hoax, such as Hillary Clinton and John Brennan, and, as could be expected, many of the figures involved couldn’t be angrier at the idea that they could be held accountable by the DOJ.

Amongst those who went berserk over the news of Trump reprisals against the Deep State and rogue officials known for lawfare, like Letitia James, was Obama-era Attorney General Eric Holder, who potentially has much to fear from the Trump DOJ as it gets digging into misdeeds done by the Obama Swamp.

Holder’s angry comments about the investigation came after Welker prompted him by asking, “President Trump has launched investigations into many of his perceived political foes, including former President Barack Obama and New York Attorney General Letitia James, Democratic Senator Adam Schiff.”

Continuing, Welker asked, “I’m naming just a few of the people you have described this as the, quote, weaponization of the Justice Department, which is, by the way, the same criticism President Trump has made about the DOJ under former President Biden. So let me ask you about that. How do you respond to the argument by President Trump that the Biden Justice Department started this?”

Holder responded by insisting that there was no basis whatsoever for an investigation into what the Department of Justice was up to during the Obama era, saying, “Well, I think that’s just totally inconsistent with the facts. There was a predicate for all of the things, a basis for the investigations, the moves that the Justice Department did.”

Adding to that, Holder insisted that it was somehow odd or inappropriate for the DOJ to be working with the White House to hold criminals accountable for their misdeeds, rambling about “investigatory power” as he did so. Beginning that angry comment, Holder said, “I, I would ask, you know, those who are in the Justice Department now, those were in the White House now because they are they are married.”

Continuing, and adding to his absurd claim, Holder then declared to Welker that the DOJ is under the White House’s thumb, saying, “They’re joined at the hip in ways that we’ve not seen before, where the White House is essentially telling the Justice Department with what to do with regard to its investigatory power.”

Even more absurdly, Holder then went on to insist that there is no basis for prosecuting NY AG Letitia James or Sen. Adam Schiff, ignoring that, amongst other things, both were clearly caught in what appears to be obvious mortgage fraud. Holder said, “What, in fact, is the predicate that you are looking at? What’s the basis for the investigation when you’re talking about Senator Schiff, Attorney General James?”

Concluding, Holder declared it “absurd” that the Obama era Deep State is being investigated at all, ignoring DNI Gabbard’s revelations and insisting, “Certainly, it’s absurd, this notion of looking at President Obama with regard to the actions that he supposedly took. There’s simply no factual basis to these, to these investigations.”
