In a broadcast of MSNBC’s “All In” that was as bizarre as it was infuriating, far-left “Squad” Representative Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) declared that President Trump and his administration are defined by “corruption” on every level, failing to provide a bit of evidence for her contention.
For reference, Japayal has long been an enemy of President Trump, as have all the members of the “Squad.” Similarly, many Democrats have accused President Trump of being corrupt, though like Rep. Jayapal, they fail to provide evidence of that supposed corruption, instead using it as a rhetorical bludgeon against him.
In any case, Rep. Jayapal went on the attack when on MSNBC, beginning by declaring that the purpose of the Democratic Party is to be a pro-affordability party, saying, “We have to be absolutely a very strong opposition party, but we also have to be a proposition party, right? We have to tell people what our vision is. And that to me is very, very clear, it’s about affordability first and foremost, people have to be able to live.”
Continuing on much the same point, the far-left represenative insisted that Democrats are fighting for “health care,” saying, “They got to earn a decent wage. They’ve got to have health care. They’ve got to be able to wake up in the morning and know that they are going to thrive, not just barely survive.”
Building on that, Rep. Jayapal went berserk over the idea that those who work hard and make money might have some relief in the tax burden foisted on them, saying, “Number two, we’ve got to make sure that the wealthiest are paying their fair share because this is another big thing: wealth and income inequality.”
She further insisted that corporations are taking advantage of Americans, saying, “And people are really furious that just a tiny, tiny group of people, big corporations and billionaires, are reaping all of their hard work and turning it into profits for them. Meanwhile, people can’t even pay the bills.”
That’s when she insisted without evidence that President Trump and his administration are defined by corruption. Doing so, Squad Rep. Jayapal added, “Then the third thing is just corruption. I really do think that people are sick and tired of the corruption, the greed that the Trump administration is showing on every level.”

Moving on without the least effort to show what sort of corruption the president or the members of his administration had engaged in, the representative insisted that tying together healthcare and higher taxes with her vague accusations of corruption were “democracy.” She said, “There’s a real opportunity there for us to tie all of these things together and say, ‘this is what a functioning democracy looks like.'”
Finally concluding, she repeated all of that yet again and suggested that higher taxes would help Americans, saying, “You have, you know, you eliminate corruption, you make sure you have a tax system that’s fair, and at the end of the day, everyone does better for themselves and their families.”
