LISTEN: Woke Media Personality Delivers Groveling Apology to Melania after Telling Horrid Lie about Her

Far-left Democratic Party strategist James Carville had to deliver a groveling apology to First Lady Melania Trump on Thursday, August 7. He retracted a prior claim made about Melania and her supposed, entirely made-up connection to Jeffrey Epstein, admitting that it was false and thus had been retracted.

For reference, Carville had released an episode of his “Politics War Room” podcast titled, “The Epstein connection: Trump & Melania.” In the episode, the political commentator and strategist suggested, seemingly basing his claims on an article in the Daily Beast suggesting that Melania Trump was introduced to her husband, now-President Donald Trump, via a modeling agent connected to the pedophile and financier Jeffrey Epstein.

Those claims were hammered by an aide to the First Lady, Nick Clemens, in a statement to Fox News Digital. Clemens said, “First Lady Melania Trump’s attorneys are actively ensuring immediate retractions and apologies by those who spread malicious, defamatory falsehoods. The true account of how the First Lady met President Trump is in her best-selling book, ‘Melania.’”

The Daily Beast soon retracted the article on which Carville had seemingly based his stunning, false claims about the First Lady. It said, explaining the retraction in wishy-washy language, “After this story was published, The Beast received a letter from First Lady Melania Trump’s attorney challenging the headline and framing of the article. After reviewing the matter, the Beast has taken down the article and apologizes for any confusion or misunderstanding.”

And now Carville has apologized too. Beginning the Thursday broadcast of his podcast, the 80-year-old political figure admitted that he had taken down the offensive, false podcast segment about the made up “Epstein connection” after receiving a threatening letter from First Lady Melania Trump’s attorney.

Apologizing for the segment in the Thursday podcast, Carville began by noting that Melania’s legal team had hammered the framing and subject matter of the show at issue. He said, “In last week’s podcast episode, we spoke with Judd Legum. After the episode, we received a letter from Melania Trump’s lawyer. He took issue with our title of one of those YouTube videos from that episode and a couple of comments I made about the first lady.”

Continuing, Carville apologized to the first lady and noted that the segments at issue ahd been taken down, saying, “We took a look at what they complained about, and we took down the video and edited out those comments from the episode. I also take back these statements and apologize.”

First Lady Melania took to X to celebrate, posting a picture of both the transcript of the “Politics War Room” clip in which Carville apologized and admitted fault, and a picture of the original offensive segment with a large red X superimposed over Carville’s face and the episode screenshot as a whole.

Commenters on her post congratulated her for having wrung a groveling apology out of the political figure who in most cases would have done everything to avoid apologize. One such commenter said, “He deserved a lawsuit but I guess he apologized. Congrats on getting an apology out of the one person I would have bet 50K wouldn’t have apologized.”
