In a recent interview, President Donald Trump seemingly passed the leadership of the MAGA movement to his Vice President JD Vance. When asked by a journalist to name his successor, Trump gave the nod to Vance but left open a possibility that he would select Marco Rubio, the current Secretary of State, to follow in his footsteps.
For context, since joining as Trump’s vice president, JD Vance has become a firm favorite of conservatives for his political acumen, sharp wit, and unwillingness to be cowed by woke leftists. Many have wondered if he will take up the torch from Trump after he retires from politics and lead the MAGA movement into the future.
In any case, the journalist asked Trump directly about who he was eyeing as a potential heir to his political empire. The reporter began by remarking about Trump’s viral appearance on the roof of the Whitehouse, saying, “President Trump, nice to see you off the roof. …You said this morning that you probably won’t be running for a third term.”
Getting to the burning question, the journalist continued, “This weekend, Secretary of State Rubio said that he thought JD Vance would be a great nominee. You could clear the entire Republican field right now. Do you agree that the heir apparent to MAGA is JD Vance?”
Responding, Trump answered the question that has been on everyone’s mind for months. The president stated, “Well, I think most likely, in all fairness, he’s the vice president. I think Marco is also somebody that maybe would get together with JD in some form.”
Concluding his remarks, Trump spoke to the incredible depth of talent in the GOP. He explained, “I also think we have incredible people, some of the people on the stage right here. So it’s too early, obviously, to talk about it, but certainly he’s doing a great job, and he would be probably favored at this point.”
As we reported, JD Vance is highly popular for his ability to demolish biased left-wing media effortlessly. For context, after the highly successful operation Midnight Hammer, which involved a daring bombing raid on Iranian nuclear sites, CNN and the New York Times published reports claiming that the strikes were mere delaying actions that only superficially affected Iran’s nuclear program.

Reacting to the sensational media coverage, JD Vance went on a social media tirade where he demolished the dishonest reporters. Vance tweeted, “To recap, an out-of-context, ‘low confidence’ and incomplete intelligence report was selectively leaked to the media. The media reported on the findings without any real effort to figure out whether they represent any part of (much less the full) truth.”
Continuing his all-out assault on the biased media, the VP continued, “The way the media has presented the report is contradicted by the IAEA, the Iranians themselves, and the administration’s political and defense leadership. More importantly, the media’s reports are contradicted by common sense.”

Obliterating this biased and unfair coverage, Vance slammed the MSM. He declared, “The media won’t investigate that story, though it would be in the public interest to do so. So pay attention to the reporters who are laundering talking points from junior careerists in the intelligence community. President Trump has obliterated the Iranian nuclear program. The American media seems destined to obliterate their own credibility on this fake story.”
