Letitia James Could Be Ousted as Her Reelection Bid Starts Falling to Pieces

The infamous New York Attorney General Letitia James is facing significant issues in her bid for reelection in 2026, despite the state’s far-left lean. Recently, New York has shifted towards the GOP, and President Donald Trump received more votes than expected in New York City, Brooklyn, and Queens. Additionally, Long Island is now solidly under Republican control.

For context, Letitia James is a Democratic ideologue who attempted to charge Donald Trump $450 million for falsifying the valuation of his assets. Ironically, she has been targeted by a major investigation for the same crime.

Getting back to the original story, the Democrats are losing their voter registration advantage, which leaves the party in an uncomfortable situation. Making the situation even worse, James won her 2022 election by a scant 54.6% compared to a much higher total in 2018.

According to a recent article, a Siena College survey revealed a 40–33 favorable-unfavorable split, with a positive score only among Democrats and residents of New York City. At the same time, all other demographics view her unfavorably.

Further harming her chances to remain in office, former Governor Andrew Cuomo, who is an enemy of James, is pondering a run for Mayor of NYC. If he were to win, Cuomo could deny her the critical 65% of the city’s vote needed for statewide Democratic victories.

Additionally, as we reported, James has been dogged by scandal while in office concerning alleged real estate fraud. Recently, special advisor Stephen Miller blasted the entitled AG in a high-octane interview. Starting of the interaction, a journalist asked, “Leticia James says the allegations against her are nothing more than a revenge tour by the Trump administration. What’s your response?”

Turning his attention to the controversial democrat, Stephen Miller thundered, “My response is that Leticia James is one of the most corrupt, shameless individuals ever to hold public office. She’s guilty, not only of those crimes, but of countless more crimes by using and abusing your public office to try to persecute an innocent man.”

Explaining James unprecedented attack on Donald Trump, Miller concluded, “Depriving him of his rights, engaging in a conspiracy to obstruct our election and to overthrow our democratic processes and procedures. She is guilty of multiple significant serial criminal violations.”

Deflecting from this criticism, the woke AG whined, “Let me just say to all New Yorkers and to all Americans, the allegations are baseless. The allegations are nothing more than a revenge tour. And as you mentioned, my office was successful in securing a $454 million judgment against Donald Trump and others for exaggerating the value of his assets.”

Speaking to the alleged chaos in DC, the Democrat whined, “Our government is in chaos and in disarray, Medicaid, Social Security, CFPB, and the list goes on and on and on and as you know, as you mentioned, each and every day, my office is leading the fight against these executive orders which have no legal import at all, have no legal significance, and we are standing up for the rights and privileges of New Yorkers and Americans.”
