RFK Jr. Nukes Woke University by Yanking Millions in Funding in Response to Its DEI Programs Scandal

In another blow to the woke education system, Duke Health faces a freeze of $108 million in federal funding due to significant violations of President Trump’s executive order banning DEI. Secretaries Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Linda McMahon wrote a confident letter outlining the university’s illegal racial practices in hiring, admissions, and patient care, which violate the Civil Rights Act.

For context, the two principal sectaries argue that violating the principles of merit-based justice endangers lives and hinders medical progress. According to the letter, Duke has six months to review and rectify their policies or face stiff consequences.

Such was shown when Secretaries Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and Linda McMahon blasted the woke North Carolina University. The letter began, “Racial preferences in hiring, student admissions, governance and patient care ‘betray’ the mission of American health care and ‘endanger human lives.'”

Continuing the epic condemnation, the Trump cabinet members expressed the dangers of these woke DEI policies, saying, “The United States invests in medical care and research because of the sacredness of human life and value of human health.”

Explaining why medecine needs to priortize merit over woke values, they added, “There is arguably no other area of our educational system where the rejection of merit is more dangerous than in medicine, where the competence of doctors means the difference between life and death for patients, and where scientific discovery is the difference between life-saving cures and the ravages of disease.”

Turning up the heat, the letter pointed to specific laws that Duke may have broken. The document stated, “Duke Health’s practices may be violating Title VI of the Civil Rights Act and Section 1557 of the ObamaCare law. The situation render[s] Duke Health unfit for any further financial relationship with the federal government.”

Still not done, Secretaries Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., and Linda McMahon hammered away at the controversial university. They noted,  “Duke Health allegedly engaged in ‘illegal and wrongful racial preferences and discriminatory activity in recruitment, student admissions, scholarships and financial aid, mentoring and enrichment programs, hiring, promotion, and more.'”

Adopting a moral tone to continue the verbal trashing, the secretaries slammed Duke for racism. The letter argued, “Such racism ‘hides behind a smug superiority’ that ‘such [so-called] ‘benefitted’ races cannot compete under merit-based consideration.'”

Concluding the forceful document, read, “Affirmative action undermines America’s commitment to merit-based justice and violates the nation’s civil rights laws. In the medical context, this illegal preferencing also breaks faith with patients, hinders medical discovery, and kindizes human life and health.”

As we reported, this is far from the only time Education Secretary Linda McMahon has chided a woke university. Earlier this year, she issued a letter to over 60 universities reading, “The Department is deeply disappointed that Jewish students studying on elite U.S. campuses continue to fear for their safety amid the relentless antisemitic eruptions that have severely disrupted campus life for more than a year.”

Still not done, the secretary added, “University leaders must do better. U.S. colleges and universities benefit from enormous public investments funded by U.S. taxpayers. That support is a privilege, and it is contingent on scrupulous adherence to federal anti-discrimination laws.”
