In an epic post on X that could signal a major electoral realignment in America, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) revealed that she had spoken to President Donald Trump about removing illegal aliens from the United States census, a move that would destroy dozens of Democrat congressional seats by significantly changing the population numbers.
As background, when the US census occurred during his first administration, President Trump tried to block illegal aliens from being counted by the census, a move that raised vociferous attacks from the left and ultimately successful challenges in court. However, now it appears that the Trump Administration will once again be retrying the move, one that would likely lead to a significant electoral advantage for Republicans.
Such is what Rep. MTG announced in her momentous post on X, saying that she had spoken to President Trump about the idea of removing illegal aliens from the census and that, to accomplish that objective through the legislature rather than the same, stricken-down route of executive orders, she was introducing a bill to make it happen.
Beginning the post, the firebrand Congresswoman from Georgia couched the move in terms of much-needed American electoral security, saying, “I just got off the phone with President Trump!! I told him about my new bill I am introducing that will save America’s elections from ever being stolen again!”
Continuing, she explained that her bill, if passed by the Republican majority, would require a redoing of the census that, this time, only counts American citizens. She said, “My bill will require the U.S. Census Bureau to conduct a new census immediately upon enactment of the bill. In conducting the new census of the U.S. population, it shall require questions determining the citizenship of each individual, and count US citizens only.”
She then noted that the bill would, after excluding non-Americans from the census, redistrict Congressional districts so as to ensure that it is the American population that is represented, not non-citizens. She said, “Upon completion of the census, the bill will direct states to immediately begin a redistricting of all U.S. House seats process using only the population of United States citizens.”
Concluding, she thanked the president for throwing his significant political weight behind the bill, thus indicating that Speaker of the House Mike Johnson (R-LA) and other members of the House leadership would take the bill up. She said, “Thank you President Trump for your strong support of my bill, Making American Elections Great Again!!! Let’s get this done!!!”

Later, she added details, providing the name of the bill and describing it as “common sense,” saying, “I’m honored to have President Trump’s support for my Making American Elections Great Again Act!” She continued, emphasizing the importance of the move, “It’s simple. It’s common sense. And we must pass it.”
Further, commenting on how the move would impact House districts, she said, “That would drastically change some House districts. Some may not change that much, but this is important because the United States House of Representatives needs to only represent American citizens and American citizens’ interests and American taxpayers.”
She added that the Republican House of Representatives leadership is, perhaps surprisingly, interested in the measure, saying, “The bill is being drafted right now and I’ve already spoken with House leadership about the bill and we’re very excited to get it finished and get it introduced.”
