WATCH: Deep State Hack Lawyers Up, Quakes in Fear on Live TV as Trump Threatens Him with Jail Time

Infamous swamp-creature, James Clapper, former Director of National Intelligence, indicated that he is feeling the heat of Trump’s investigation into the Russia-gate hoax and has “lawyered up” to protect himself from prosecution.

For context, Tulsi Gabbard, the current DNI, declassified several documents which revealed the Obama administration fabricated claims of Russian interference to undermine Trump’s stunning victory in 2016. Despite Clapper’s earlier comments, which said that no cyberattacks altered the election, he would later go on to repeat the tired DNC line about the election.

In any case, Tapper seemed worried when he spoke with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins about the possibility of facing charges for his actions. The journalist began, “When the director says that she’s referred these filings to the Justice Department for criminal investigation tonight, we’re told they formed what is called a strike force. Do you have concerns that they will attempt to prosecute you?”

Worried, the former DNI defended his actions and tried to cast the investigation as a politically motivated witch hunt. Tapper whined, “Well, certainly I do. You know, after eight and a half years of this, and I don’t know of an intelligence product that was more scrutinized, more investigated than that product was by numerous people.”

Still not done complaining, he continued, “You know, it’s very disconcerting. It really is, and I take it seriously when the President of the United States accuses me of being a participant in a treasonous conspiracy, which is ridiculous, yeah, what’s your reaction to that? It’s ridiculous. It is just untrue.”

Concluding the clip, Collins asked him about preparing for a possible prosecution, saying, “So what will you do if they come after you? What is your plan?” Responding, Tapper said, Well, I’ll lawyer up. I suppose already have… We’ve had sort of perpetual attorneys since I left the government in 2017.”

When the clip made its way to social media, conservatives were enraged by Tapper’s selfishness. One such post read, “🚨 BREAKING: Former DNI James Clapper says he’s AFRAID that he’ll be ARRESTED for his role in the Russia Collusion Hoax. He SHOULD be afraid. Very afraid 😏 Clapper even admitted he’s already “LAWYERED UP.” He knows they’re closing in on him,” adding, “LOCK HIM UP!”

These remarks are even more indefensible when we consider how James Clapper himself admitted that the Russia-gate hoax was exaggerated. He said, “Foreign adversaries did not use cyberattacks on election infrastructure to alter the U.S. Presidential election outcome.”

    Watch the clip here:

Reacting to the bombshell allegations from Tulsi Gabbard, Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) blasted the Russian collusion narrative in a confident statement. He said, “What’s critical that Tulsi Gabbard made public is not that, that people put out allegations that Putin wanted Trump to win. It’s that they were lying and knew they were lying. That’s what’s explosive here, is that their repeated testimony to Congress was false.”
