In the wake of taking to Fox News and X to share updates on how her battle with cancer is going and when she might be fully back, beloved Gutfeld co-host Kat Timpf got covered in messages of well-wishing and support from her fans, who did their best to boost her spirits with sweet messages online.
As background, Kat Timpf is a comedian and is the co-host of Greg Gutfeld’s late-night show, “Gutfeld!”. She was diagnosed with breast cancer back in February 2025, just hours before she went into labor and gave birth to her son. She then had to undergo a double mastectomy in March 2025, and managed to somewhat return to “Gutfeld!” in June. Then, on July 16, 2025, Timpf gave an update on her battle with cancer to fans during an episode of the show.
Explaining what is going on with her cancer battle to viewers, Timpf said, “When I came back, I said that I still had some more surgeries to go, and my first one’s next week, so I’m gonna be out for a couple of weeks.” Commenting generally on what is to be expected in a battle with breast cancer, she added, “Even … the best case scenario of breast cancer can involve quite a road to feeling whole again.”
Building on that, Timpf told Gutfeld that she was still taking “the first step” in her ongoing treatment. Then she noted that she was explaining her situation in some depth so that “the internet can’t come up with theories about where I am…that’s where I am.” She continued, “Thank you, everyone, for all your support, vibes, and prayers, or however you show that. I really appreciate it and I can’t wait to come back soon.”
Posting the clip of her explainer on X, Timpf noted that she would hopefully be returning to the show in a few weeks, and thanked those who have offered kind messages of support to her. She wrote, “I’ll be back on @Gutfeldfox in a few weeks! Huge thanks to those of you who have taken the time to offer me words of kindness and support. I love u all so much ❤️🍈😎”
Fans on X who reacted to the clip shared a great many more messages of support and the like. Quote tweeters, for example, shared messages of prayer and support like “Take care of yourself Kat! We’ll miss your sass! Hopefully not for long though!❤️” and “We’ll miss ya but see ya when you are up to it! Lots of prayers!”
Similarly, a great many more commenters left short and sweet messages of support like “Love you. We all do! ♥️”, “Oh, Kat! Hang in there. Praying for you!”, “Love you Kat!!!!”, “We love you Kat. 🌹”, “We love you @KatTimpf. Thoughts and prayers are with you.Now go finish this. 👊,” and “We’ll miss you and we’ll be here waiting for you to come back! Prayers continue!🙏💕”
