In the wake of a fiery thread in which she exposed the complicity of Obama Administration officials in an illegal, republic-destroying attack on President Donald Trump before his first administration even began, Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard appeared on Sean Hannity’s show on Fox News Channel to double down on her threats and demand accountability.
As background, the basis of her attack on Obama and those in his inner circle was the Russia Hoax that began in 2015 and played out over the majority of Trump’s first term. In that attack on President Trump, the top Obama administration officials, such as John Brennan and James Comey, used the fake Steele Dossier to discredit Trump and begin an investigation despite knowing it was false, thus using FISA courts to attack the president.
Sounding off on what happened and vowing justice in an explosive thread on X, Tulsi declared that the Obama regime weaponized the intelligence agencies against Trump and exposed just how illegal that was. Beginning, she said, “Americans will finally learn the truth about how in 2016, intelligence was politicized and weaponized by the most powerful people in the Obama Administration to lay the groundwork for what was essentially a years-long coup against President @realDonaldTrump, subverting the will of the American people and undermining our democratic republic.”
Continuing, she noted that administration officials insisted that Russia had no ability to impact the presidential election…up until Trump won, at which point they created a paper trail to insist that it had done so even as truth-telling intelligence officials found that the Russians “did not impact recent U.S. election results.”
Citing new findings, Tulsi says, the top officials yanked that report and “top national security officials including FBI Dir James Comey, CIA Dir John Brennan and DNI James Clapper gathered at the Obama White House to discuss Russia. Obama directed the IC to create a new intelligence assessment that detailed Russian election meddling, even though it would contradict multiple intelligence assessments released over the previous several months.”
Then, as could be expected, the intelligence officials got the media establishment involved in pushing lies so as to preemptively discredit the president by claiming Russia had delivered his victory for him. As Tulsi tells it: “Obama officials immediately leaned on their allies in the media to advance their falsehoods. Anonymous IC sources leaked classified information to the Washington Post and others that Russia had intervened to hack the election in Trump’s favor.”
Using all of that, the intelligence establishment then used the lie-filled Steele Dossier to justify an investigation into the president, an investigation that turned much of his first term into a debacle. Tulsi noted: “On January 6, 2017, just days before President Trump took office, DNI Clapper unveiled the Obama-directed politicized assessment, a gross weaponization of intelligence that laid the groundwork for a years-long coup intended to subvert President Trump’s entire presidency. According to whistleblower emails shared with us today, we know Clapper and Brennan used the baseless discredited Steele Dossier as a source to push this false narrative in the intelligence assessment.”

Revealing what the intelligence she has gathered shows, Tulsi then noted that Obama and his top officials engaged in “treasonous conspiracy” against the president, saying, “These documents detail a treasonous conspiracy by officials at the highest levels of the Obama White House to subvert the will of the American people and try to usurp the President from fulfilling his mandate.”
She added that this sort of betrayal of the republic should concern every American because of what it shows about the intelligence establishment, and that she is providing all the intelligence she has to the Department of Justice so that it can start holding wrongdoers accountable for their crimes, meaning prosecution of Obama could be coming soon.
As could be expected, the revelations raised an online furor, with leftists accusing Tulsi of making it all up and aspiring to use the justice system for tyrannical, politicized ends.
