In a powerful post on Truth Social, President Donald Trump announced that his Federal Bureau of Investigation has been able to achieve a major victory against violent crime now that it is focusing on fighting real crime rather than spying on conservatives, with the leadership of Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino being to thank for that victory.
As background, the FBI under Biden was seen by many Americans, particularly conservative Americans, as being heavily focused not on protecting Americans from real crime but rather on harassing, spying on, and even prosecuting normal conservatives, such as the parents who stood up to radical school boards.
Now that President Trump is in charge, that is at an end and the FBI is back to focusing on preventing and investigating real crime, with the result of dramatically decreasing the amount of crime ongoing in America. President Trump shared the article on Truth Social and highlighted it as an example of FBI excellence brought about by focusing on the basics of law enforcement. Beginning the post, he said, “The FBI, under the direction of Director Kash Patel and Deputy Director Dan Bongino, is back to the basics: Locking up criminals, and cleaning up America’s streets.”
Continuing, he argued that in the past, those honest FBI agents who just want to do their jobs were prevented from doing their job and cracking down on crime by corrupt leadership, saying, “We have the Greatest Law Enforcement professionals in the World, but “Politics” and Corrupt Leadership often prevented them from doing their job.”
Concluding, he wrote that the FBI was now able to do its job and has been unleashed on criminals rather than normal Americans. He said, “That is no longer the case, and now, they have been unleashed to do their jobs, and they are doing just that. Keep it up — MAKE AMERICA SAFE AGAIN!”
Praising the FBI for its anti-crime stance and noting that it has done quite well in ramping up arrests of the worst sorts of criminals, the “Amuse” X account wrote that the recent success shows how easy it is for crime to be solved when the FBI focuses on it rather than political enemies. It said, “CRIME: It turns out when the FBI stops focusing its attention on investigating its political enemies it can actually solve real crimes.”

Continuing, the account noted that the FBI has dramatically ramped up violent criminal arrests since the Biden days, saying, “Since Kash Patel and Dan Bongino took the helm at the FBI they have arrested 14,000 violent criminals, a 62% increase from the previous year. This includes 825 violent child predators and 140 human traffickers.”
Deputy Director Bongino, for his part, has noted that the FBI is laser-focused on improving the lives of Americans by making their neighborhoods safe from crime. He said, “We are mission-focused on crushing violent crime and making your neighborhoods noticeably safer … This is not a victory lap, we are doubling down hard.”
