WATCH: Pete Hegseth Brings Out the Perfect Response to Demolish Liz Warren in Hilarious Senate Smackdown

In an epic retort, Secretary of State Pete Hegseth shut down Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) when she tried to trip him up over President Trump’s decision to call in the Marines to quell violent anti-ICE protests that have been sweeping the nation.

For context, since violent anti-Trump and anti-ICE riots have plagued several prominent cities across the nation, critics have taken a closer look at violent Democratic rhetoric, which may have played a part in inciting this wave of lawlessness. Many democrats have encouraged their followers to fight President Trump, which some have interpreted as a call to violence.

In any case, the dishonest Democrat tried to entrap Hegseth, saying, “Secretary Hegseth, if the President wanted to deploy Marines to Chicago and New York City like he did in Los Angeles, would you carry out that order, even if the local governors and mayors objected?”

Firing back, Hegseth retorted, “Well, Senator, because Governor Newsom was unwilling to address protecting federal law enforcement agents in Los Angeles, President Trump had all the authorities in the Defense Department happily supported defending our ICE agents in the conduct of their job.”

Continuing his epic rebuttal, he said, “They have the right as Americans to be able to do their job without being attacked by mobs, and we will protect them in that process. And if others needed it, we would provide that. I know that you heard my questions.”

In another attempt to make Hegseth look bad, Waren tried to ask another question to advance her cynical DNC narrative. She asked, “So you would be willing to send troops if the President ordered it to Chicago, New York City?”

Answering confidently, the secretary of state stated, “Well, thankfully, New York City, unlike California, unlike Gavin Newsom, is willing to step up and address the issue with the local law enforcement. Take that as a guess.”

Still trying to get her lame point across, the Massachusetts Democrat said, “How about if the President says he wants to send troops to 15 cities? Would you be willing to do that?” At this point, Hegseth began to get annoyed and lashed out at the senator.

Responding, he said, “Senator, I don’t accept your hypothetical, because…” However, he was rudely interrupted by Warren, who said, “That’s not the question. You’re the Secretary of Defense. Would you send troops to 15 cities? If the President said… [so] would you do it? 15 cities again?”

Somehow keeping his composure, the former Fox News host answered, “Senator, it’s a complete hypothetical, lacking … any context at all. You’re [asking] this, and I refuse to box myself in based on questioning, on a hypothetical.”

Committed to her fruitless line of questioning, the far-left Democrat stated, “You’re here asking for a trillion dollars, and I want to know how you’re going to spend it. And so my question is, if Donald Trump tells you to send troops to 15 American cities. Are you going to spend the money and send the troops?”

Shuttering her down, he said, “Thankfully, we’re spending money on securing our southern border away. The previous administration abandoned and allowed 21 million illegals to enter our country. So defending our homeland is a real, serious priority under this administration, and we’re doing this.”
