In a stunning appearance on The Joe Rogan Experience, the largest podcast in the world. FBI Director Kash Patel teased a major update about the investigation into former NIH Director Anthony Fauci, who oversaw the lockdowns and the COVID-19 pandemic response.
For context, Fauci has faced sharp criticism from conservatives for his perceived short-sighted policies and alleged bias in his decisions. Despite Fauci’s claims, many have wondered about his motivations, and despite multiple hearings, the health leader has remained evasive.
Such was shown when Kasp Patel spoke with podcaster Joe Rogan on June 6. 2025. He said, “I mean, we just had a great breakthrough this week on Fauci. So Senator Rand Paul, Senator Kennedy, and I hate name names, because I was forget, people are doing a great job with us on COVID origins, and we’ve got multiple investigations open on that.”
Continuing his explanation, he said, “They had always been looking for Fauci’s original phone, or not original, but phones and devices he used while he was Fauci back in Trump one during COVID, and nobody had found it till two days ago, really. Yeah. Now look at your audience and everybody listening to him should jump to the conclusion.”
Explaining the importance, the FBI director clarified, “Everything’s in there. We’ll look at it, we’ll pull it, we’ll rip it, as we say, and maybe it’s deleted. Maybe it’s not, but at least we found it, and at least now we can tell the American people we’ve been looking because it is of public importance to figure out, did that guy lie?”
Adding more details, Patel explained Fauci’s guilt, saying, “Did he intentionally mislead the world and cause countless debts we owe those answers to the American people, and the best evidence ever is always the people’s evidence who created it.”
Concluding his remarks, he stated, “And so now we’re going to go and exploit those hard drives. However, I believe a victory for the American people, which we achieved by breaking with Congress, is that we did find it. We’re not done. We’re still looking and we’re on the case.”

The clip was posted to social media by a prominent conservative who said, “THANK-YOU KASH PATEL.ARREST DR. FAUCI…” In the comments under her post, many users chimed in with their own thoughts on the groundbreaking interview,
One such comment read, “This is ridiculous, Fauci was questioned in Congress, and we have papers that determine exactly how he moved the experiment on gain of function to Wuhan. Peter Dasic was involved.” Another user, angry with Paterl, added, “What exactly are you thanking him for, talking? KASH PATEL IS A FAILURE!!! NO ARRESTS NO INDICTMENTS NO JUSTICE PATEL. But, hey thank you Kash, you’re doing such a tremendous service right LIZ!!”

Rounding out the comments, another conservative said, “Next week, Kash is going to say that there was no evidence found suggesting Fauci misled the public and that he was being completely transparent and honest. Just like the Epstein files. Nothing will happen.”
