In a recently unearthed video, an angry crowd heckled Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) for her alleged drinking problem and warmongering behavior. The hecklers lobbed hilarious insults at Pelosi, including one jab that called her a “sad old drunk,” a hilarious accusation that has become an inside joke among conservatives since.
For context, Pelosi has been hounded by rumors of a drinking problem after multiple videos have surfaced showing her slurring her words or unable to speak in complete sentences. When combined with her terrible politics, many have noted that she seems unfit for her leading role in the Democratic Party.
Such was shown during the April 4, 2023, event at the City University of New York Graduate Center, where Pelosi was speaking with Nobel Prize-winning economist Paul Krugman. Angered by her actions, the disorganized crowd yelled, “See, there’s a very good place for you in the depths of hell,…Why is it that you did not admit that there were no WMDs in Iraq, now over 90% of those people… are dying.”
Next, another member of the crowd yelled, “Tell the truth about Nordstream. Why do you support Nordstream? You are a war criminal. Hey, Congresswoman, I came to see a warmonger,” they said, before adding the now-legendary line, “But you’re a sad old drunk.”
Continuing the verbal beatdown, the same protester shouted, “What happened when you went to Taiwan? Were you looking for Ukraine? Did we blow up the Nord Stream by accident or on purpose? Did you know about that? Aren’t you supposed to be part of the indictment tomorrow? You’re a war criminal by definition.”
Still not done, another heckler noted, “Miss Pelosi, you got some nerve. Is that why you’re here in Manhattan? Is that why you’re here because you’re getting indicted tomorrow, you goddamn war criminal. How many people have died in your f**king name? How many people have died because of Iraq? All of you forgot about Iraq, Iran, Libya, Syria, then there’s no chance for this economy, don’t you see it all failed?
Building on this point, the activist stated, “And then you land your plane in Taiwan. We want a war with China; at the same time, we want to all have nuclear bombs dropped on our heads. We live in Manhattan. I have to ask you to leave…By the way, Lyndon LaRouche is back in a big way, and I’m here on behalf of everybody who loves peace and not war with Russia and war with China and a new hot war with the east. ”

In the comments under a clip of the incident posted to X, formerly Twitter, conservatives were enraged by the Democrat. One comment read, “What does @TeamPelosi think she’s going to get a free happy tour like crooked @HillaryClinton got while getting pay for play money as Secretary of State. Waiting to get her president seat that was promised for dropping out of Obama race. What happened?”
