WATCH: Tom Homan “Dismantles” CNN Host with Epic Response on ICE Raids

Trump administration border czar Tom Homan recently sat down with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, where he decisively “dismantles” her pushback on President Donald Trump’s deportation agenda.  Homan has continually given media interviews outlining the efforts to undo the unprecedented illegal immigration that occurred under the Biden-Harris administration.

During the interview, Collins echoed concerns among immigration advocates that Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) is entering schools.  However, Homan pointed out that there shouldn’t be any concern unless someone is a legitimate public safety threat.  The border czar maintained that U.S. immigration laws must be enforced and that residing in the country illegally is a crime.

Collins broached the topic, “What we had heard from immigration advocates is that this is going to provide a chilling effect to parents and the school drop offline or something of that matter.” Homan immediately responded, “It should be a chilling effect. Unless your child is a terrorist or a public safety threat.”

That being said, Homan maintained that those posing a threat to the well-being of American communities should be “afraid” as the administration seeks to detain them. “If they are a public safety threat and national security threat, they should be chilled. They should be afraid, because we’re looking for them,” Homan told Collins.

The host pushed back, “If their parent is here and they’re an undocumented immigrant, I think was, was more of the argument that they were making.”  Homan noted that anyone breaking United States law is liable to be held accountable.  “They’re not off the table either. If you live in the country illegally, they got a problem. I mean, it’s not okay, to enter this country illegally,” he said.

“It’s a crime, and that’s why supposed to be I wouldn’t feel comfortable if I’m in Switzerland illegally,” Homan doubled down.  “So we’re going to enforce the laws of this country. So you know, the schools and the churches and sensible location was a policy only for ICE only for immigration, right, but national security threats and public safety, does have no safe haven in this country and we’ll go where we’ve got to go.”

The clip from last month has gone viral on social media sparking commentary from various users.  End Wokeness shared the interview of X, writing, “CNN’s Kaitlan Collins tries to turn it into a scandal that ICE is entering schools. Tom Homan calmly dismantles her.”  Various others agreed that Homan shut down the argument with facts and logic.

Commentator Chad Prather similarly said, “CNN’s Kaitlan Collins ATTEMPTED to attack Tom Homan over ICE entering schools. Newsflash: it didn’t work….” Applauding Homan’s ability to handle pressing interviews, one person wrote, “He always responds in such a calm but assertive manner that he gives them no hope.”

Another user criticized the rhetoric, commenting, “‘A chilling effect’ People need to be more resilient. The MSM once again sowing seeds of fear into people. I still can’t wrap my head around this sympathizing for illegal aliens that are committing heinous crimes on our US citizens. I mean, isn’t she one? How would she feel if something happened to her? Would she feel so bad for them then?”
