President Donald Trump has reportedly considered the idea of removing America’s serial criminal offenders from the United States and sending them to be imprisoned in another nation for a “small fee.” As rampant crime became a major concern for Americans nationwide, Trump aggressively campaigned on restoring law and order when elected.
Trump proposed the concept when speaking to the House Republican Conference at Trump National Doral Golf Club in Florida. The president’s idea was to target violent criminals in particular, citing some with dozens of arrests. Countless headlines have plagued the media over the past few years of repeat offenders with lengthy rap sheets committing heinous crimes, leading some to question why they were on the streets to begin with.
Speaking about illegal immigrant criminals initially, Trump said, “They’re very dangerous people. They’re violent people. I used to say these are more violent than our criminals. In fact, the best part about them is they make our criminals look quite nice, actually, by comparison, they are very violent people.” The president has long maintained that many countries have emptied their prisons and sent their worst criminals to the U.S.
However, Trump noted that we have plenty of criminals of this caliber in the United States as well. “We also have many violent criminals in our country, however, that did not necessarily come here illegally, but have been arrested 30 times, 35 times. 41, 42 times,” the president said. “In a couple of cases, 25 times, 18 times many for murder and other heinous charges such as pushing people into subways, as the trains coming along at 45 miles an hour…boom… you get pushed into the subway.”
After citing gruesome details of the heinous crimes that have been committed in America’s urban environments, Trump asserted that they have no place roaming the streets of American society. “I don’t want these violent repeat offenders in our country any more than I want illegal aliens from other countries who misbehave,” he said.
Trump then outlined a plan he devised to combat this problem. “And I say, and this is subject to getting it approved, but if they’ve been arrested many, many times, they repeat offenders by by many numbers. I want them out of our country,” he began. “We’re going to get approval, hopefully, to get them the hell out of our country, along with others. Let them be brought to a foreign land and maintained by others for a very small fee, as opposed to be maintained in our jails for massive amounts of money, including the private prison companies that charge us a fortune. ”
“Now, let them be brought out of our country and let them live there for a while. Let’s see how they like it,” the president continued. Trump predicted that crime in the United States would be drastically reduced if this plan were to be implemented. “You’ll see crime all over the country dry up. Essentially, that’s what Venezuela and other countries are doing.”

Trump concluded, “They’re getting rid of their criminals and putting them into the United States of America, and their crime is down by almost 80% we’re going to restore law and order in America, and we want to bring back the death penalty for these horrible people that kill people. They kill people. It’s always a tough thing to say, because I don’t like it. Nobody likes it, but if you don’t do it, we’re just we’re just looking for trouble.”
