Footage from Inauguration Day has gone viral, showing First Son Barron Trump photobombing his older sisters. The clip shows a playful side of the 18-year-old first son, the youngest of President Donald Trump’s children, who is modest and conservative in his public appearances. The video has spread across social media, racking up millions of views.
In the clip, Barron towers over his much shorter sisters with his 6’9″ stature as they pose for a picture, unaware that the first son is standing behind them. After the picture, Ivanka spins around to find Barron with a mischievous grin, slapping him on the side of the arm in a playful manner while laughing at the humorous prank.
The FLOTUS Report X account shared the clip, writing, “Barron photobombing his sisters earlier today in the Capitol .” Numerous users reacted to the clip, noting how endearing it is to see the Trump family interacting in such a familial setting. One person wrote, “Good to see them having some fun! Barron possesses a great sense of humor, it’s adorable to see. You have a lovely family Melania, our dearest First Lady. Very heartwarming.
”
Another user wrote, “Wholesome! Such a Great Family. I think it starts with Daddy Trumps ‘No Drugs, No alcohol (or 1-2 at most), no smoking, And a Family Bond like no other, no tolerating Family Squabbles or dissension, Trust Each other and Work with each other. Trump demands it. Amazing.” One person added, “He’s got a sense of humor like his father .”
The American Tribune reported on other footage of Barron from Inauguration Day after his father gave him a shout-out while speaking to supporters in the Capital One Arena. “I have a very tall son named Baron. Has anyone ever heard of him,” Trump said as the entire arena broke out into a roaring cheer while Barron stood up.
Trump applauded Barron’s extensive knowledge of how to reach the Gen Z vote, advising his father to appear on multiple podcasts in the months leading up to the election. “He knew the youth vote. You know, we won the youth vote by 36 points. And he was saying, Dad, I got to go out and do this one or that one. And we did a lot of them. And he respects them all. He understood them very well,” Trump said.
“And he said, Dad, you got to go out do Joe Rogan to all these guys. And we did,” he added. “We did. And Joe Rogan was great. They were all great.” Trump sat down with Rogan for nearly 3 hours in late October, only days away from the election, in a podcast that garnered over 50 million views. Trump gave numerous other podcast interviews with figures such as Theo Von, the Nelk Boys, and many more.
