Barron Trump has become quite a popular figure in American politics, receiving praise and critical acclaim during his public appearances. This was demonstrated during President Donald Trump’s post-inauguration speech in the Capital One Arena after his father gave him a special shout-out for his outsized contributions to the successful campaign.
As Trump recognized his son before the crowd of supporters, he stood up and gave a classic gesture, beckoning the crowd’s reaction as they broke out into a roaring cheer for the president’s youngest son. “I have a very tall son named Baron. Has anyone ever heard of him,” Trump said as the entire arena cheered for the 6’9″ first son.
The president highlighted Barron’s detailed knowledge of where to reach the youth vote, encouraging his father to appear on numerous podcasts in the months leading up to the election. “He knew the youth vote. You know, we won the youth vote by 36 points. And he was saying, Dad, I got to go out and do this one or that one. And we did a lot of them. And he respects them all. He understood them very well,” Trump added.
“And he said, Dad, you got to go out do Joe Rogan to all these guys. And we did,” he continued. “We did. And Joe Rogan was great. They were all great.” Trump sat down with Rogan for nearly 3 hours in late October, only days away from the election. That episode of “The Joe Rogan Experience” has well over 50 million views on YouTube. However, former Vice President Kamala Harris declined to do an interview with Rogan.
Numerous reports have indicated that Barron provided substantial advice to President Trump on which podcasts and public appearances he made prior to the election. Aside from the interview with Joe Rogan, which was the biggest appearance by far, Trump sat down with other notable podcast figures such as the Nelk boys, comedian Theo Von, and Adin Ross. All of these platforms are wildly popular among Gen Z voters.
The American Tribune previously reported on a clip of Trump highlighting Barron’s campaign contributions during the interview with Joe Rogan. Speaking with Rogan, he said, “So I have a son who’s very smart and tall Barron, right? And he knows all about you. He knows about guys I never heard of. He said, ‘Dad, you don’t know how big they are. They’re big.’ I said, ‘Who the hell is he? Like Ross?” Trump said, referencing his podcast interview with Adin Ross.
Trump continued, “I mean, guys that are doing, it’s a whole new world out there. It’s a different world. And, you know, I’m on TikTok now. And I’ve done really well … Have you seen the numbers? Billions, like, billions of hits.” He added, “And I’ve done up 30 points. A Republican is always down 30 with young people. I’m plus 30 and I’m on Tiktok.”

Trump maintained, “It’s had a huge impact.” Rogan chimed in, “I think young people are rejecting a lot of this woke bullsh*t. Young people are tired of being yelled at and scolded. They’re tired of these people that they think are mentally ill telling them what the moral standards of society should be today. And people are upset.”
