Minnesota’s far-left, Somali-born representative Ilhan Omar got piled on for her comments related to the recent news that Kevin McCarthy had become the next Speaker of the House.
Omar, one of the obnoxious ingrates on the “Squad” which also features the likes of the always-angry Ayanna Pressley and the insufferably stupid AOC, reacted to the final vote by complaining that “far-right insurrectionists” had essentially won despite McCarthy winning the plurality of House votes for the Speakership.
Her commentary would be extra inflammatory if not for the fact that Fox News hosts also labeled members of the House Freedom Caucus as insurrectionists, as Brian Kilmeade stated, or if fellow House Republicans like Dan Crenshaw hadn’t called them terrorists.
McCarthy just agreed to a deal with far right insurrectionists that would hold the entire US and global economy hostage to extreme cuts to everything from housing to education, healthcare, Social Security and Medicare.
Hard to overstate how dangerous this is.

“McCarthy just agreed to a deal with far right insurrectionists that would hold the entire US and global economy hostage to extreme cuts to everything from housing to education, healthcare, Social Security and Medicare. Hard to overstate how dangerous this is,” Omar said on Twitter.
Omar, fresh off helping to secure Democrats with an unconscionably and unfathomably ridiculous omnibus spending package, wasted no time in demagoguing for more money.
She went on to say that moderate Republicans could potentially neutralize the rules package negotiated by patriots like Matt Gaetz by voting with Democrats instead of their own caucus.
This would mean once the Speaker is elected, the rule package the Freedom Caucus negotiated fails and a rules package that doesn’t have any of the concessions passes.

Tune in at 10pm to find out how this saga ends,” Omar said in response to a tweet that suggested the most RINO of RINOs might backstab their constituents by voting with the party of Joe Biden.
Immediately, Omar got hammered on Twitter for her outlandish comments.
“Dangerous freedom > peaceful slavery,” the popular Hodge twins said.
“Is it as dangerous as marrying your brother?” comedian Tim Young hilariously added.
“Democrats just pushed through a $1.7 Trillion Omnibus Bill, and you’re worried about spending more money already. Sounds like that deal was needed!” noted another account. As is well known by now, Kevin McCarthy succeeded in securing the Speakership after 15 hotly contested rounds. Democrats voted along their party line all 15 rounds for Hakeem Jeffries, providing him 212 votes, whereas McCarthy’s final tally had to win over 21 different Republican votes at one point.
“It took a loss by a razor-thin margin in a late-night Round 14, a heated exchange with one of his sternest opponents, and a near-adjournment of the House till Monday to break a logjam unseen since before the Civil War,” the Associated Press said after McCarthy finally won out.
“The final tally that put him over the top: 216 for McCarthy, 212 for Democrat leader Hakeem Jeffries and 6 simply ‘present,’” the outlet added
The Associated Press continued:
All day Friday, McCarthy had been inching ever closer to taking up the gavel as he won over multiple diehard conservative critics and resistors. McCarthy, who flipped 15 colleagues to supporters in dramatic votes on Friday afternoon, returned to the chamber at 10 p.m. ET with hopes high that he’d woo enough additional hardliners to put him over the top.
But then came a surprising loss, with him snagging 216 votes, just one shy of the 217 needed to get a House majority after two colleagues, Lauren Boebert and Matt Gaetz, merely voted “present.”
What followed was some extraordinary drama, as McCarthy and Gaetz appeared to exchange sharp words on the House floor. A vote to adjourn till Monday was quickly introduced, but was then walked back as supporters did a U-turn and rescinded votes.
