“All the Ethics Reports”: MTG Calls for Release of “Entire Jeffrey Epstein Files,” Other Ethics Reports in Wake of Gaetz Getting Torpedoed

In the wake of former Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-FL) dropping out of being considered for the Attorney General position, citing the total hostility of four GOP Senators to his confirmation as the reason, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (MTG) sounded off and called on the House to release all the ethics reports it has kept quiet.

Gaetz, as background, announced that he was removing himself from consideration by saying, “I had excellent meetings with Senators yesterday. I appreciate their thoughtful feedback – and the incredible support of so many. While the momentum was strong, it is clear that my confirmation was unfairly becoming a distraction to the critical work of the Trump/Vance Transition. There is no time to waste on a needlessly protracted Washington scuffle, thus I’ll be withdrawing my name from consideration to serve as Attorney General. Trump’s DOJ must be in place and ready on Day 1.”

Continuing, he noted that he is grateful to Trump for the opportunity, saying, “I remain fully committed to see that Donald J. Trump is the most successful President in history. I will forever be honored that President Trump nominated me to lead the Department of Justice and I’m certain he will Save America.”

President-elect Trump, posting about the matter on Truth Social, said, “I greatly appreciate the recent efforts of Matt Gaetz in seeking approval to be Attorney General. He was doing very well but, at the same time, did not want to be a distraction for the Administration, for which he has much respect. Matt has a wonderful future, and I look forward to watching all of the great things he will do!”

Part of the issue for Gaetz was a House ethics report lurking in the background that critics contended held evidence of his wrongdoing. So, it was that issue that MTG used to bash the RINOs and Establishment Republicans for their attacks on Gaetz while they have skeletons in their closets.

Beginning her post about the matter, MTG said that the House and Senate should release all their ethics reports if they are going to release the one about Gaetz, saying, “For my Republican colleagues in the House and Senate, If we are going to release ethics reports and rip apart our own that Trump has appointed, then put it ALL out there for the American people to see.”

Continuing, she went on to say, “Yes..all the ethics reports and claims including the one I filed.” She continued, saying that the details on the slush fund used to pay off accusers should be released, saying, “all your sexual harassment and assault claims that were secretly settled paying off victims with tax payer money.”

She added that the Epstein file needs to be released as well, writing that the House and Senate must release “the entire Jeffrey Epstein files, tapes, recordings, witness interviews.” She added, “but not just those, there’s more, Epstein wasn’t/isn’t the only asset.” She then said, concluding, “If we’re going to dance, let’s all dance in the sunlight. I’ll make sure we do.”
