Climate Activist Harrison Ford Seen Exiting Private Jet in California

Harrison Ford, a known climate activist, is facing backlash from conservatives online after he was spotted exiting a private jet in California while traveling to celebrate his wife’s birthday.  Some have alleged that it is hypocritical for Ford to travel by private jet, which raises his individual carbon footprint substantially above the average American’s.

Critics often point out that leftist celebrities and elites often call for sweeping climate change regulations while urging average Americans to change their lifestyles to reduce carbon emissions. Simultaneously, many of these individuals will continue to enjoy luxuries, such as private jets, seemingly adopting a mentality of “rules for thee, but not for me.”

The conservative X account, “American Great Again,” posted the image of Ford exiting the plane on X, writing, “Oh look here another Hollywood Elite Hypocrite Harrison Ford, “acclaimed Climate Activists” getting off a private jet in LA He owns several planes , some he has crashed, but has a beautiful personal Jet in his inventory.  These elites talk a lot, but don’t ‘walk the talk’” See it below:

The “Han Solo” actor has been highly outspoken about his support for climate activism, delivering numerous speeches and interviews on the subject.  Ford said during an interview with TIME Magazine, “The climate crisis is real — the weight of scientific evidence is overwhelming… but evidence can be ignored, it can be manipulated.”

Furthermore, “Indiana Jones” blasted politicians who turn the issue of climate change into a politically contentious topic for personal gain. “Leaders who choose to make climate change a divisive issue do it to protect the entrenched economic interests who profit from behavior that destroys our planet. It’s selfish. It’s short-sighted. It needs to stop… This sh*t is going to kill us.”

Ford also gave a speech at the United Nations in 2019 giving a dire warning about the Amazon rainforest. “The world’s largest rainforest, the Amazon, is crucial to any climate change solution, for its capacity to sequester carbon, for its biodiversity, for its water, for the air we breathe, for our morality and it is on fire. When a room in your house is on fire, you don’t say there’s a fire in a room in my house,” he said.

He continued, “You say My house is on fire, and we only have one house, our efforts will have effect. We will make great progress, and we are not alone. There’s a new force of nature at hand stirring all over the world. They are the young people whom, frankly, we have failed, who are angry, who are organized, who are capable of making a difference. They are a moral army, and the most important thing that we can do for them is to get the hell out of their way.”
