Speaking to Fox News Channel’s Fox & Friends, a pro-Trump, MAGA-committed patron at a diner sounded off on ABC’s “The View” and one of its most infamous, to the right, and mocked co-hosts: Whoopi Goldberg. In fact, he said, when speaking to the camera, that he can’t wait to use President-elect Donald Trump’s awesome catchphrase from The Apprentice, “You’re fired!,” to fire Whoopi.
As background, Whoopi has been firmly committed to the left and the Kamala Campaign, going on many a tear about how awful Trump is while trying to boost Kamala and make her look better. Now, that outspoken Trump critic and Kamala booster is getting roasted, with the MAGA diner leading the charge.
Such is what FNC’s Todd Piro found when he visited the Pennsylvania diner in the wee hours of the morning on Wednesday, November 5, after Trump’s electoral victory. The jubilant supporters of the former president and now-President Elect cheered his victory and roasted his opponents with glee.
Pirro even noted that the “the jubilation has devolved into delirium.” Turning to Don, one of the patrons, Piro asked, “Come 11:00 A.M. today how are you going to celebrate?” Don, joking and drawing laughs from the pro-Trump crowd, told Piro, “I’m going to watch ‘The View.’”
As the crowd howled and roared with laughter, Piro said, “There you go. Don is watching ‘The View.’ Where are you watching The View, Don?” That’s when Don used Trump’s classic line and said, “I’m going to tape it in case I’m not home. I want to tell Whoopi Goldberg, ‘you’re fired!’” He added, “Get out of here!” Piro exclaimed, “Don just fired Whoopi!”
Watch them here:
Trump and Whoopi have long fought. Whoopi has even taken it to the extreme of going after Trump’s granddaughter, Kai, after Kai spoke in support of Trump at a rally. Kai said, “I’m speaking today to share the side of my grandpa that people don’t often see,” she said. “To me, he’s just a normal grandpa. He gives us candy and soda when our parents aren’t looking. He always wants to know how we’re doing in school.”
Then, speaking about the endless legal battles her grandpa has endured, Kai said, “Even when he’s going through all these court cases, he always asks me how I’m doing. He always encourages me to push myself to be the most successful person I can be.” Expressing how Trump motivates her, she added, “Obviously, he sets the bar pretty high, but who knows, maybe one day I’ll catch him.”
Goldberg took issue with this speech from Trump’s granddaughter, outright suggesting that it was nothing more than an attempt to “humanize” the former president. “I have a lot of faith in the American people. And I don’t know very many men who want to be talked to the way that this man has been talking to men in his audience,” Goldberg stated to the panel. “I don’t know any women — and I know his grandchild was up on the thing and they’re trying to humanize him and change your idea about who this guy is.”
