According to recent reports, residents of Massachusetts claim that they are being sent fake postcards claiming to be from the Kamala Harris campaign. The postcards appear to be trolling residents, claiming that migrant families will be moving in with them because of their support for Vice President Kamala Harris.
One Shrewsbury, Massachusetts, resident claimed to have received a postcard after displaying a yard sign showing support for the Harris-Walz campaign. “It really creeped me out,” she said. The postcard thanked the resident for the support for the vice president and informed her that a family from Nicaragua would be moving into her home.
However, the woman quickly caught onto the fact that the card was not real. “That’s when I realized it was an obvious attempt to try to either scare me or rage bait me and make me upset,” she explained. “It’s really sad that the country has come to this point where you can’t put a lawn sign out and support a candidate without being harassed with something like this.”
Another Shrewsbury resident claimed that they were mailed a similar postcard that claimed a family from Guatemala would be moving in with him. The woman claimed, “It makes me angry.” She added, “But if the takeaway is ‘Don’t put up a lawn sign in support of a political candidate,’ I feel the exact opposite. Next time there’s an election, I’ll put up three signs in my yard.”
Another resident received a postcard with similar language. “Thank you for supporting Kamala! We are so appreciative of you putting out a yard sign. But now we need your continued help,” the postcard stated. “We will be moving a family of 4 from the country of Belize into your home on 11-3-2024. They will need food, toiletries, and transportation. Thank you!”
The American Tribune recently reported on Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance’s commentary regarding illegal immigration in which he vowed to deport those who have come to the United States illegally. Vance said, “I think it’s very simple. Actually, the first thing that you have to do, and the first ;thing that President Trump will do, is stop the massive inflow of illegal aliens in the first place. You gotta stop the bleeding before you can actually fix the problem here. And we still have 1000s of people coming across the border illegal every single day.”
Vance maintained that deportations must be carried out. “So the first thing you do, you reimplement deportations, you finish construction of the border wall, and you stop proposing mass amnesty for millions of illegal aliens. That solves the majority of the border problem. On day one, President Trump already did it, and he will certainly do it again,” he continued.

“Now to your point about what do you do with the people who are already here,” the Ohio senator said. He explained that deportations of illegal immigrants would start with the most dangerous, violent individuals. Vance emphasized that the administration seeks to send a message of “pack your bags” to those participating in the “invasion” of America.
