Former NFL legend Chris Jacke recently dispelled rumors that he had endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris ahead of the fast-approaching election. After a viral post suggesting that Jacke was voting blue this election cycle, he quickly fired back at the claims, maintaining that he was “born with a brain” and most definitely voting for former President Donald Trump.
One user on X named John falsely claimed, “Former Packers kicker Chris Jacke has endorsed Kamala Harris for President.” Replying to the post, Jacke weighed in with the facts, stating, “Obviously I was born with a brain and have not endorsed that nut job!!! I suggest you unfollow/block John as I did some time ago! MAGA.” The original post from John even received a Community Notes fact-check, which read, “He directly disputed endorsing her.”
Jacke has been extremely active on social media retweeting conservative-themed posts by high-profile political figures and offering his own commentary. In one post, the former kicker joked about the inflated price of groceries under the Biden-Harris administration, writing, “Due to current food prices, the 5 seconds rule has been extended to 15 seconds.”
In another light-hearted, comical post, Jacke called out the rampant illegal immigration and lack of border security under the current administration. “To my friends who hunt…I know deer season is just around the corner and some of you may not have land to hunt on. So I was thinking…just look for Farms with Harris/Walz signs and feel free to hunt there. They support open borders and you are just trying to feed your family and have a better life,” he wrote in another post shared to his X account.
The American Tribune recently reported on other endorsements of former President Donald Trump from professional NFL kickers, where outspoken conservative Catholic Harrison Butker officially announced his support for the Republican presidential candidate. While on the campaign trail with Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO), the Kansas City Chiefs kicker noted how Trump’s agenda aligns with his pro-life values.
Fox News host Laura Ingraham asked the kicker, “You’re supporting Hawley, does this mean you’re supporting Donald Trump?” Butker responded, Well, I’m supporting the president that’s going to be the most pro-life president. I think Donald Trump…topic that is the most crucial topic for me. I want us to be fighting for the most vulnerable, fighting for the unborn, and that’s what we should prioritize, and that’s obviously what Senator Hawley is doing as a man of faith.”
Ingraham followed up, asking, “Is there any equivocation about supporting Trump? I mean, were it not for Trump, Roe versus Wade would have not been overturned, obviously, right?” The professional athlete replied, ”I think you you have to vote for whoever’s going to be the most pro life, and we have to be prayerful men that put God first and I think that’s what’s going to be best for our country. Harrison.”
