In something that was news as huge as it was welcome, former First Lady Melania Trump appeared in Madison Square Garden to speak on behalf of her husband, former President Donald Trump, and comment on the state of things in New York City. In her short speech, which introduced her husband, she stunned with her beauty and commented on the ravages of crime and the city needing to get its “magic back.”
Speaking about New York City, she said it is the place where “architectural symbols of strength, courage, and unity” turned it into a “canvas for the world’s undisputed capital of industry.” Continuing, she encouraged listeners to “envision a wonderful America where the seeds of security, prosperity, and health” are sown.
During her introductory speech, she said, “Hello, Madison Square Garden, our hometown, where architectural symbols of strength, courage, and unity create a canvas for the world’s undisputed capital of industry.” Continuing, she said, “Where titans of finance, fashion, and entertainment convene among an iconic range of superior design, structures, and artistic accomplishments.”
Building on that, she commented on the blossoming of American ingenuity, saying, “And, American ingenuity blossoms among determined citizens who race across city streets and between offices striving for success. It is you who are the heartbeat of this great metropolis. It is you who are the pulse of this America.”
Then, speaking yet further about the city, she commented on the ravages of crime, saying, “Crime is on the rise, while public safety diminishes creating an environment where families with young children chose to relocate.” She added, “And this story repeats itself from coast to coast, across our nation: This is America.”
She further spoke about both the city itself and America generally being in need of restoring “their magic,” saying, “For generations, this town has produced America’s most fearless leaders, whose mark changed the course of the world. New York City and America need their magic back. A country of tomorrow that will shape our future and reset expectations for the generations.”
And, encouraging people to thing about a world where such is the case, where things are fixed, she said, “Envision a wonderful America where the seeds of security, prosperity, and health are sewn once again for benefit of our families. Let us charge together with a shared vision that builds on American greatness.” Watch her speech here:
Commenting on Melania’s appearance on social media, commenters pointed to her incredible beauty, saying things like “Melania is showing up in Madison Square Garden!!! Isn’t she giving off queen vibes?!? Beautiful!” and “My God Melania is a gorgeous woman. I say this not to objectify her, because so much of beauty depends upon qualities far beyond physicality. Melania seems happy most of the time, she’s always smiling, she’s glamorous and always impeccably dressed. It is so rare today to see ANYONE in PUBLIC LIFE so completely comfortable in their own skin. I want Melania to be restored as our First Lady. SO MUCH!”
Similarly, another poster wrote, praising Melania, “Melania is a queen with a brilliant IQ and you can’t tell me differently. Everything she does in life is done methodically and she’s separated herself from the campaign enough to have the media talking just to re-emerge for her grand entrance at Madison Square Garden.”
