Footage of Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL) has recently gone viral on social media, showing the congressman sounding off on the Kamala Harris campaign during an event for the Trump campaign. Donalds called out a number of issues plaguing the country, highlighting why former President Donald Trump is the obvious choice over Kamala Harris.
Addressing numerous problems in his speech, ranging from the economy to contentious social issues, Donalds tore apart the Harris campaign. He urged the crowd to get out and vote for Trump, promoting the Make America Great Again agenda. At one point during his criticism of Vice President Harris, Donalds emphatically stated, “I’m cooking now!” illustrating his passion.
“They told me early voting started today in Georgia, you know, and something tells me that the America First movement in the state of Georgia is alive and well, and in 21 days, Donald Trump is going to be the 47th president of the United States,” Donalds said, hopeful about former President’s Trump’s prospects next month.
The Republican congressman illustrated that the more that voters are educated on the issues at hand, the more people seem to drift toward former President Trump’s Make America Great Again platform. Donalds highlighted how things were far better under Trump’s administration, where inflation was low and illegal immigrations was down.
“When we educate them and we bring the facts about why people want Donald Trump back, when we explain to them that the economy was better under Donald Trump, when we say that Americans could actually afford and buy homes under Donald Trump, when bacon was actually a decent price, and you can go buy two packs instead of just one that was under Donald Trump. When you talk about the fact that, you know, the country was actually secured, we weren’t overrun with illegal aliens that was under Donald Trump,” the representative said.
However, Donalds stressed that people have to get out and vote if they want to see a substantive change throughout the United States. “If you want to for a policy that makes sense, you gotta get out and vote. If you want men out of women’s sports, you got to get out and vote. If you want the largest deportation force, you got to get out and vote,” he said.
The Florida Republican pointed out that many demographics that have historically supported the Democratic Party are stepping across the aisle, realizing Trump has a better plan for the country. “Hispanic men are saying, You know what, we need to secure the southern border, and I need an economy that’s going to let me pass something on to my kids, they’re rolling with us,” he added.
“And for the liberal news and for the Harris campaign, if you want to call it toxic masculinity, be my guest. You know what we call it? We call it manhood, and manhood is needed in America today,” he continued, speaking about the need for strong family. values. He added, “Oh, I’m cooking now. Oh, I’m cooking now. I’m on one.” Watch Donalds’ speech below:
