Co-host on ABC’s “The View,” Sunny Hostin, recently claimed that Vice President Kamala Harris’ campaign is “flawless” despite the troubling signs that she is losing momentum in the polls. According to Hostin, the mainstream media, which many conservatives already consider to be a propaganda arm of the Democratic Party, is to blame for her polling struggles.
Recent polling data suggests that Vice President Harris’ support has steadily declined among male voters, particularly those in the black community. The report indicates that any marginal support Harris received from the presidential debate last month has dissipated. Responding to this, Hostin suggested that the media should “do a much better job” at propping her up.
Praising the Democratic presidential candidate during a recent segment of “The View,” Hostin said, “Look, I think that Kamala Harris has been running a flawless campaign and that’s why she raised billions of dollars…a billion dollars. I think it’s because of the momentum she has. I think it’s because people believe in her, and I think people are showing that by the amount of money that they are willing to give to the campaign.”
“I think we have the press to blame for a lot of this,” she said, calling out the mainstream media. “Whoopi, you always say that you don’t believe in polls. I’m with you now, because I’m reading the press. First it was, ‘Kamala’s not doing enough press.’ Then she goes on this huge press tour, she was here, with us, I thought she was fantastic.”
“The crowd went wild, it was electric,” Hostin added, before reading a series of headlines about Harris. “CNN: ‘Democrats grow anxious’; Axios: ‘Blue wall blues’; Fox: ‘Dems are scared to death.’ No! Dems are not scared to death. Dems are pumped.” The co-host then pivoted, urging the press to go on the attack against former President Donald Trump.
She said, “I would like the press to talk a little bit more about is Trump is in hiding. De didn’t do the 60 Minutes interview. He does not want to do another debate. He’s in mental decline. Obama’s speech was captivating in Pittsburgh. Yet, instead of talking about that, we’re talking about what he said before the speech to black men. I think that the media has to do a much better job than what they’re doing.”
As a clip of the segment circulated across social media, users reacted to Hostin’s remarks. “To better translate @Sunny Hostin: ” Media has to do a much better job of pushing #Kamala propaganda in order to overcome her personal and campaign incompetence than they’re currently doing,” one person wrote, pointing out that she is calling for the media to push propaganda for Harris.

“Asking this for a friend, have the Democrats ever thought of just coming up with good policies and winning voters over? Or is it all negative smear attacks or lie against one side and happy happy joy joy with the other? How about being positive for once in your approach to everything. Stop being Chicken Littles the sky is falling the sky is falling,” another user wrote.
