    VINDICATED: Thousands Attend Kirk Cameron Book Reading At Library After Originally Being Denied

    Though it initially denied Kirk Cameroon’s “story hour” for his new faith-based book, As You Grow, which is an illustrated children’s book that is part of a series celebrating positive, biblical virtues like kindness, joy, patience, and compassion, the Indianapolis Public Library caved and allowed Cameron to hold a public reading as an event meant to drum up interest in the newly released book.

    The library had claimed that the Christianity-focused book “didn’t align with the values” of the community when originally rejecting Cameron’s attempt to hold an event there, but, despite that negative prediction, thousands did show up to listen to Cameron.

    According to the publisher Brave Books, over 2,500 parents and children packed into the library. Check that out:

    Brave Books later “fact-checked” a Turning Point USA personality who posted on Twitter that a thousand conservatives showed up for the event. That was Alex Clark, who said “Hearing that over 1000 conservatives showed up to hear Kirk Cameron read his children’s book in Indianapolis after libraries across the country refused to host him.” Clark also posted a photo of the event with the caption “Amazing.”

    Responding with a quote tweet, Brave Books said “Fact Check: Over 2,500 ✅😉”.

    People online were very positive about the event, saying things like:

    “This is awesome. There are more of us than the perverted left. It’s about time they hear us roar!”

    “It was amazing! Thanks again for having this event!”

    “I just received his book & there is absolutely nothing in it that was controversial in anyway whatsoever. What exactly are these people so offended by? We need to get them to answer how a simple story about growing up strong is inappropriate.”

    “After the recent licentious, lefty drag queen grooming sessions, it’s nice to see that the soul of America still has righteousness at its core. Well done, @KirkCameron. The father heart of Jesus on display. #JesusIsLORD”

    “This is awesome! Congrats to @KirkCameron and @BraveBooksUS! #GodIsGood”

    “Wow! And for some reason I remember these libraries telling Kirk that his book doesn’t represent their communities. Seems like there are a lot of people in this community that want to raise their children with Christian values.”

    As background, two libraries initially said Cameron was not allowed to hold an event, but the libraries eventually backed down after Cameron threatened to take them to court over the matter, as Fox News Digital reported, saying:

    In comments to Fox News Digital over the weekend, actor and writer Kirk Cameron declared that he has “won” against two public libraries in this country that previously denied him the space and opportunity to hold a children’s book story hour program in their facilities — and that now are offering to work with him on room bookings after he challenged their denials and threatened to “assert” his “rights in court.”

    In short, “they caved,” his publisher told Fox News Digital this weekend.

    Fox News Digital was shown the email exchanges between him and the two libraries as proof of the forward progress, as well as the details of the room bookings for later this month at the libraries.
