Joe Biden has expressed fury and outrage over his administration’s inability to manage the untenable border crisis, according to an upcoming book.
Fox News, describing the behind-the-scenes look, writes that a furious Biden “cursed repeatedly about the border crisis as illegal immigrants kept flocking to the overwhelmed southern border, according to an upcoming book detailing the first years of Biden’s presidency.”
If true, it presents a much different image of Biden from the one that from all appearances is publicly celebrating an unprecedented surge in illegal immigration. Biden previously ended the Trump-initiated “Remain in Mexico” policy, is seeking to sunset Title 42, and has on multiple occasions celebrated the increased diversity that such unfettered immigration brings.
Whatever the motivations, the end result is disastrous. And either way, at best it shows complete incompetence if he wants the border crisis resolved and has been unable to do so.
The new book details that Biden has never expressed such outrage among his administration over the voters’ perception of the White House’s seemingly open invitation to foreigners seeking entry to the United States.
“Meanwhile, illegal immigrants kept arriving. And Biden was furious,” the book reveals. “Aides had rarely seen him so angry. From all over the West Wing, you could hear the president cursing, dropping f-bombs (he’d always apologize when women were present).”
One aide is quoted as saying: “It’s like, ‘How would you feel if you were me and these were the solutions you had?’ It’s the weight of the presidency, right?’”
Fox News describes other sections of the book as revealing an almost-unhinged president lashing out over repeated failures of managing the border.
In another part of the book, Whipple goes back to the crisis at the border, writing: “Next to vaccine disinformation, this was the thing that made Biden’s blood boil.”
Whipple also describes Biden as “on a short fuse” on a separate issue later in the year.
“Early in his term he had reserved the f-bomb mostly for discussions of the southern border, but lately he was using it more often,” the book says.
The book also makes mention of Joe Biden’s uneasy relationship with Vice President Kamala Harris. It would seem that Biden chose his running mate based on demographic needs and woke virtue signaling rather than on trust and competence. Biden at one point described VP Harris as a “work in progress.”
The American Tribune previously reported that Harris, rather than accept responsibility for her main task (tapped by Joe Biden to manage the border), she punted and placed the blame on Republicans in general, and governors like Texas’s Greg Abbott and Florida’s Ron DeSantis specifically.
“And sadly, what we have seen in particular, I am sad to say, from Republicans in Congress is an unwillingness to engage in any meaningful reform that could actually fix a lot of what we are witnessing,” Harris said during an interview with NPR.
“I think that there is so much that needs to happen to address the issue,” she continued, before adding, “Reform of our immigration system can only happen through Congress in terms of the passage of an immigration bill that allows for a legal pathway to citizenship and a legal presence in the country.”
