Remember the days when actors would just…act? When they’d make a funny or exciting show or movie, do a good job with it, and otherwise stay quiet, sticking in their lane and focusing on doing a good job rather than making a woke political statement?
Well, those days are obviously good and gone, dead and buried, now that the woke mind virus has taken over pretty much everyone in Hollywood. While annoying from the perspective of someone who doesn’t want to support wokeness, the fun part about that is that there’s some great content, as it’s very easy for non-wokeness afflicted people to mock and humiliate the woke celebrities. Such is what happened to Mark Hammil recently.
It began when he posted this ridiculous tweet, turning a movie character into a woke totem:
Cute video Ajit “Aren’t I Precious?” Pai 🤮-but you are profoundly unworthy 2 wield a lightsaber-A Jedi acts selflessly for the common man-NOT lie 2 enrich giant corporations. Btw-did you pay John Williams his royalty? @AjitPaiFCCorpShill #AJediYouAreNOT

The tweet was ridiculous, particularly since Luke Skywalker has been turned into a revenue-generation machine by Disney.
Louder with Crowder, commenting on Hammil’s ridiculous tweet, said:
Everyone have an enjoyable weekend of watching, debating, and overanalyzing The Last Jedi? Good. It feels nice to have a shared experience that unites us rather than divides us. Now get back to work. Because apparently Mark Hamill was the most recent celebrity who Democrats sent net neutrality talking points to.
Way to have a sense of humor, Jar Jar. Not that celebrities tweeting ignorant things about net neutrality is newsy. It’s the most on trend thing in Hollywood.
Then Ted Cruz stepped in to wreck Hammil too, saying:
.@HammillHimself Luke, I know Hollywood can be confusing, but it was Vader who supported govt power over everything said & done on the Internet. That’s why giant corps (Google, Facebook, Netflix) supported the FCC power grab of net neutrality. Reject the dark side: Free the net!

The whole thing was ridiculous, as could be expected of story starting with a woke celebrity and his ill-informed opinions. But, like most such stories, it was also funny, as the actor ended up getting wrecked for all to see on Twitter.
