Recently, a Georgia Trump supporter illustrated the impact of persistent inflation under the Biden-Harris administration. Sporting aviator-style frames and a backward MAGA hat, Cody Ivie offered insight into rising prices in everything from gasoline to, most importantly, beer, or the “working man’s Gatorade,” as he described it.
Over the past few years, one of the most significant pain points for Americans has been paying for gas at the pump. “I remember, before Trump got out of office, it would only had to put ten dollars in my truck go back and forth to work. Then all of a sudden, it’s thirty to forty,” Ivie said. Many conservatives have blamed Biden’s hostile rhetoric toward the fossil fuel industry for contributing to the price swings.
The Trump voter took his commentary a step further, talking about price increases he has noticed in beer. Ivie suggests that blue-collar Americans are upset about their “Gatorade” becoming increasingly expensive. “And then prices on beer goes up. And hey, that’s the working man’s Gatorade, right there,” he further told the reporter.
One of the biggest issues the Biden-Harris administration has been criticized is the state of the economy, where Americans have endured historically high inflation coupled with increased interest rates. As the presumptive presidential nominee for the Democratic Party, Kamala Harris will have to answer for the BIden administration’s poor record on this major issue.
The American Tribune recently reported on comments from Shark Tank star Kevin O’Leary, who suggested that all the “happy talk” around Kamala Harris will cease when she has to address real problems, such as the economy. Mr. Wonderful further called into question Harris’ record as vice president, asking, “What has she actually done?”
O’Leary said, “In the next two weeks, the happy talk is going to have to stop because someone’s going to sit her down and say, ‘let’s talk inflation, let’s talk border, let’s talk policy on energy. Let’s talk policy on foreign affairs.’” He added, “If she wants to win, she’s got to go to the center. But she’s got to have some ideas on how to run the country. You might hate Trump, but he has this track record of policy. You might hate him. I get it. But you’ve got to do something.”
The business icon continued, “It would be important to leave aside the politics and ask, ‘What has Kamala Harris actually done, actually achieved?’” Speaking through is own business experience, he said, “Because if I was hiring her – and I’m not trying to be partisan – I would ask her, ‘What was a goal? What did you achieve?’ Because any governor or any senator that would put into presidential viability would have a history, a track record of doing stuff.”

Former President Donald Trump has also addressed the problematic state of the economy, vowing to fix it if reelected. “Just to begin, news of inflation is rampant, it really is rampant. It’s moving at a level like people have not seen, they to be able to cut it down. Biden has no control over what’s happening. He started it with energy and now it’s taken on a life of its own and it’s very sad. We’ll get it fixed,” he said.
