Recent reports coming out of Brevard County, Florida, indicate that 29-year-old Blake Robinson was allegedly attempting to burglarize a car. However, Robinson was in for a surprise as he got “his butt whipped” by the 66-year-old owner of the vehicle last Thursday.
Brevard County Sheriff William Ivey took to Facebook to explain the incident, writing that the vehicle’s owner heard strange noises from within his residence before he went outside to find Robinson allegedly trying to break into the car. Reportedly, the man returned inside to call 911 before going back outside to deal with Robinson. Per Sheriff Ivey’s post, the situation escalated to a physical confrontation. The sheriff began his message, “Welcome to Brevard County, where we proudly support… ”Play stupid games…win stupid prizes”!!”
He continued, “Yesterday, during the early morning hours, a citizen called 911 to report that he had heard a noise outside of his residence and went to check what it was. Once outside, he was met by this guy, Blake Robinson, who was making the stupid mistake of attempting to gain access to a car that of course was not his.”
The Brevard County sheriff continued, describing how the predicament unfolded. “Our victim went to locate his phone so he could call law enforcement, and when he came back outside to confront Robinson, he was attacked and hit in the head before being thrown to the ground. Despite then being kicked in the head by Robinson, the victim was able to defend himself and hit Robinson, causing him to fall back, so that he could get away!!”
Following the fight, where the man in his 60s held his own against the much younger assailant, officers arrived on the scene where Robinson was transported for medical treatment. Sheriff Ivey emphasized that Robinson was “manhandled” and got “his butt whipped” by the car’s owner. “Deputies arrived on scene and were able to quickly detain Robinson, who was seemingly having a tough time getting up off of the ground, after getting his butt whipped by a 66 year old man!! That’s right Mr. Tough Guy, Robinson, got manhandled by a 66 year old man who thankfully only required brief medical treatment and was left without any serious injuries!!”
Sheriff Ivey went on, “As for Robinson, he was fortunate enough to be in Brevard County where he won a few prizes for being stupid including a chauffeured ride to a local medical facility to check his injuries before arriving at his less than luxurious accommodations at “Ivey’s Iron Bar Lodge!!” At the lodge he was given a freshly washed 2 piece ensemble to get comfortable in, before being shown to his sleeping area in our open floor plan.
The statement concluded, Last but not least, he was awarded a $30,000 bond for Burglary of an unoccupied conveyance, and battery on a person over the age of 65!! Wow that sucks…he got an enhanced charge for hitting someone over the age of 65 who ended up whooping his punk butt!! We hope you enjoy your stay at our lodge and as we like to say here in Brevard County, “Mess Around and Find Out!!””
The American Tribune reported on another tactics from Sheriff Ivey, who was been dubbed the most “politically incorrect sheriff,” which he employs when arresting “dirtbag” criminals in Brevard County. Ivey often hosts a special segment he created called “Wheel of Fugitive” in which he spins a game show wheel to select a wanted criminal that will be arrested. Watch it below:
