Speaking on a Saturday, June 29 interview with the New York Post, the former husband of First Lady Dr. Jill Biden sounded off on her continuing to keep elderly President Joe Biden on the campaign trail and in the presidential race even after his disastrous debate performance on the Thursday night before, saying that it’s not admirable.
As background, Bill Stevenson was married to Jill from 1970 to 1975 before she left him for now-President Joe Biden after his first wife died in a car crash in 1972. Dr. Jill and Joe Biden were married in 1977, a few years later.
In any case, Mr. Stevenson spoke to the New York Post about the issues with Dr. Jill, alleging that her behavior is bad for her husband. He said, “The Dr. Jill Biden who I’ve seen on TV in the last five years is not the same person I married or that I recognize in any way. She’s matriculated into a completely different woman.”
Continuing, he said that the issue is that Dr. Jill is keeping Biden in the race despite his obvious issues, saying, “I just don’t understand why she is so adamant about defending him and keeping him in the race since it appears that he’s struggling.” He added that Biden is struggling greatly, saying, “It appears that he’s struggling with everybody these days.”
Mr. Stevenson then explained that he has no hard feelings, but thinks she’s a different person now than when he knew her. He said, “I’ve been proud of her at certain moments. I have no hard feelings … I’m just surprised to see her front and center in the middle of this battle after flying under the radar for so many years. She’s always been very driven. People say she’s the one who wants to be president now.”
Then, skewering President Biden as a “liar,” saying that there is “no better liar” than him, Mr. Stevenson said, “It makes me cringe every time he calls Trump a liar, because I’m telling you right now, there is no better liar than President Biden. He’s just a bad person. I’m probably one of the few people outside his family who has known him for 50 years.”
Further, commenting on what he thinks about Biden’s mental state and why he doesn’t feel sorry for him, Stevenson said, “Look, I’m not a doctor or a psychiatrist but yeah, I felt he lost a step three or four years ago. Now I think it’s more like a couple of steps. Do I feel badly for him? No, because he did some horrible things to me and my family.”

This isn’t the first time Mr. Stevenson has spoken about the Bidens. Previously, he said, explaining why he has come forward about what he alleges is their corruption, he said, “I can’t let them do this to a president that I love and respect. I can’t let them do this to our country.” He added, “This is why I’ve come forward. This is the only reason I’ve come forward. It’s like I said, nothing about the divorce, no bitterness, but Jimmy, Frankie, and President Biden are very dangerous, and it’s tragic. I can’t let them do what they did to me to President Trump. I can’t do it.”
