In yet another very funny move by former President Donald Trump as his 2024 campaign against President Joe Biden heats up, his team crafted a hilarious video in which he marches up the stairs of Air Force One with no issues while President Joe Biden struggles up the stairs, stumbling and falling multiple times. The funny video put the relative vitality of the two presidents in stark contrast.
As background, President Biden has had serious trouble making it up the stairs to Air Force One. The clip Trump posted comes from the large staircase to the main Air Force One entrance and is perhaps the most famous video of Biden stumbling repeatedly on the staircase, nearly keeling over completely in an incident that drew much attention to his alleged feebleness in March of 2021.
But there are numerous other videos showing Biden struggling with the Air Force One staircases as well. Another video came when Biden was trying to make it up the stairs in March of 2023 after a speech in Selma, Alabama, and he struggled to make it up the Air Force One staircase, to the dramatic attention of the internet.
The repeated difficulties he had with the stairs led to him using the short staircase to a much lower entrance to Air Force One, with the shorter staircase presumably being used so that there is less of an opportunity for him to trip or fall over and embarrass himself. Nevertheless, he has had occasional trouble with that staircase as well, often losing or narrowly avoiding battles with it.
The White House, for its part, maintains that Biden is in good physical health. In a report on the president’s health, the White House doctor said, “The President feels well and this year’s physical identified no new concerns. He continues to be fit for duty and fully executes all of his responsibilities without any exemptions or accommodations.”
Trump then used those incidents to his advantage with a hilarious video of Biden’s March of 2021 staircase incident next to his walking up the stairs with no trouble. Conservative X personality Nick Sortor drew attention to it in a post on X viewed more than 5 million times, saying, “🔥 President Trump just posted this side-by-side video of him and Biden walking up the stairs of Air Force One 🤣 Pretty obvious why Biden uses the small stairs now 😂🤣”

Commenters took the opportunity to sound off on Biden and congratulate Trump for the funny post. Clinton accuser Juanita Broadderick, for example, wrote, “Trump is unrelenting. 😂😂😂😂” Sortor responded by saying, “And that’s why we love him 🤣”
Another commenter said, “Why won’t his family step in? Biden should be at home with his family resting. He doesn’t belong in the White House.” Sortor responded by claiming, “Because his family is complicit in the elder abuse.” The commenter responded by saying, “Smh poor man. And now they will pump him full of drugs and put him on tv.”
