Recently, fans of the popular hip-hop radio show The Breakfast Club called in to voice their complaints about President Biden. The anecdotes demonstrate a shifting opinion among the black community, which is increasingly favoring former President Donald Trump over Joe Biden.
One caller named Tone claimed that both Trump and Biden were too old and suggested that age limits be imposed on presidential candidates. The individual pointed out Trump’s recent felony conviction while simultaneously claiming Biden suffers from dementia.
“Yo, I wanted to comment on that Joe Biden situation, right? And I think, I think it’s important, after this presidency, right? We really set an age limit on these people who we voted in the office, bro, we committed, we we got a freaking convicted felon that’s 80 and then we got a demented Joe that’s 81 like, come on, what the hell we doing?” he said.
Despite bashing Trump as an elderly felon, Tone noted that he loved that Trump was running for president since it exposed the long-held “hypocrisy” in America. “I think that’s why I love that Trump is running because it shows the hypocrisy that America always have had, but it really shows now, if you gonna let a complete defender run to the President, you gotta take it off, like apartments with certain ones, certain ones, but you gotta just take it off because it ain’t it ain’t it ain’t right,” he said.
Another caller named Israel sounded off on Joe Biden, calling out his age. He began, “I just want to say, you know the Democrats keep wanting to tell us not to please our lying eyes like everybody can’t see Joe Biden. He is 81 and, God bless him, you know. But that don’t mean you are the only person that can run this country.”
Israel further called out the pervasive issues Americans face that Democrats seemingly downplay. Despite the incessant denial from the Biden administration, he is actively observing financial struggles all around him, where people are unable to afford groceries and pay their energy bills.
“You know, we see what’s going on. You know, you can tell us this not happening. This is not happening, but we see it. We I mean, we actually out here living it. I’m actually seeing people having to put their groceries back at the cash register. You know, people can barely afford energy bills now. You know, so quit peeing on my leg and telling me it’s raining. We got wars breaking out everywhere,” he said. Listen to the callers below:
The caller further praised former President Trump for his accomplishment of being the only president in the last 50 years that didn’t involve the U.S. in a global conflict. Israel called out what many would describe as the Military Industrial Complex, highlighting how profit incentives can theoretically drive war.
“And one more thing, you know why? You know why nobody don’t like Trump, why that man was only one in the past. He’s the only person in the past 50 years that didn’t get us in no war and wars is big money. Wars, these contractors run the world. He’s the only person in the past 50 years that didn’t give us involved no war, the only one,” he said.
