With more and more attention being paid to President Biden’s seemingly concerning mental and physical capabilities and thus whether he will be able to make it through a second term if elected, more eyes are on his VP, Kamala Harris, and how she would be as president. Speaking about her during an interview with Fox News Channel host Sean Hannity on his “Hannity” program. former Speaker of the Hosue Newt Gingrich argued that VP Kamala Harris is “hopeless.”
Speaking on that, Gingrich told Hannity that anyone who watches VP Harris is able to discern that she is terrible and thus that President Biden, even despite his issues, looks “good” in comparison. He then went on to explain what problems he sees with her and how, despite trying to be better recently, she is still a problem for Biden’s re-election campaign.
Beginning, Gingrich spoke about why he sees her as being “hopeless” and somehow makes President Biden look at least marginally better in comparison to her. He said, “Kamala’s hopeless because she’s Kamala. Anybody who watches her knows the idea of her being President makes Biden look good, which is really hard nowadays.”
Continuing, former Speaker of the House Gingrich added that VP Harris is “shallow” and “uneducated,” telling Hannity, “You have to start with the idea that she has imprinted on the country, permanently, that she’s a very shallow, uneducated, and uneducable person other than her weird laugh. There’s no significant part of her.”
He added that she has managed to look and sound somewhat less awful recently, yet remains a problem for Biden, telling Hannity, “Now, I do think her efforts in the last month or two on abortion, running around the country on women’s rights, she’s actually stabilized and sounded semi-serious, but I think basically she’s a huge drag on the ticket.”

This isn’t the first time that Gingrich has sounded off on Kamala. Speaking about her issues in a March interview with Hannity, he said, “You know, he [Biden] may or may not have cognitive decline problems at his age, but at her age, she’s just dumb.” Continuing, Gingrich argued, “Let’s be clear: Kamala Harris may be the dumbest person ever elected vice president in American history, and that’s why people keep resigning.”
He also gave an example of what makes her look so bad, particularly on the world stage, he said, “If you were her national security adviser, and you were competent, and you’d worked hard, and you knew what you were doing, and you watched her in Poland break up laughing when she’s asked about Ukrainian refugees, you had to feel a sense of total humiliation.”
Gingrich further argued that, given VP Harris’ issues, it is no surprise that an adviser would resign rather than continue trying to handle the ever more embarrassing situation, saying, “So I’m not surprised that that particular adviser resigned because it’s very clear that Kamala Harris should never, ever be allowed to leave the country.”
