Country music star Jason Aldean recently commented on the guilty verdict in the Trump hush money trial, where the former President was convicted of 34 felony counts relating to the falsification of business records.  Aldean claimed that the Americans are living in “scary times” following the decision from the jury.

Aldean took to Instagram, posting an image of an upside-down American flag, a symbol of distress.  The musician pondered the implications of the trial’s outcome on the rest of the American public.  His caption read, “Scary times in our country right now, man.  When a former POTUS gets treated like this by our justice system, what does that mean for the rest of us???”  He added, “If there was ever a time to speak up, IT’S NOW! Make no mistake…. We are in trouble.”

Furthermore, Jason Aldean’s wife, Brittany, also posted a message of support toward former President Trump, writing, “WE LOVE YOU @realdonaldtrump.”  The message added, “The ones with a brain can see through the smear campaign.”  Jason and Brittany Aldean have been vocal with their support for Trump, sparking controversy from the left.

As the news broke that Trump had been convicted in the controversial case brought against him by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg, various other celebrities weighed in on the event that has sent shockwaves through the world of politics.  Megyn Kelly wrote on X, “Guilty on all counts. The country is disgraced. Alvin Bragg should be disbarred. They will rue the day they unleashed this lawfare to corrupt a presidential election.”

Additionally, Piers Morgan wrote, “This is a sad, shameful and ridiculous day for America. To drag a former President, who is running for President again, through criminal courts over something so trivial feels a massive overreach & an incredibly divisive and obviously politically partisan action.”

Republican House Speaker Mike Johnson also commented on the outcome of the trial, urging the Supreme Court to step in and overturn the “dangerous” verdict from the jury.  Johnson explained that, while it may take some time, he believes the nation’s highest court will “set this straight.”

“There’s a lot of developments yet to come, but I do believe the Supreme Court should step in, obviously, this is totally unprecedented—and it’s dangerous to our system,” the House speaker said during a recent appearance on Fox News’ “Fox and Friends.”

Johnson continued, “I think they’ll set this straight, but it’s going to take a while.  The process takes a while to play out. The Democrats know that, of course, and they’re dragging it out. That was the whole objective. They want to try to bankrupt Donald Trump.”

According to the Louisiana Republican, what he observed in the Trump hush money trial was “outrageous.”  He added during the interview, “The American people see it.  This is a purely political exercise, not a legal one. And everybody knows that. They know intuitively that it’s wrong. And the people are outraged.”

Johnson explained that the outcome of the trial is “diminishing the American people’s faith and our system of justice itself.”  He stated, “And to maintain a republic … people have to believe that justice is fair that there’s equal justice under law. They don’t see that right now,” he added.
