Failed comedian Kathy Griffin has had a tough several years. Since being broken by Donald Trump, she has foolishly posted a picture online with a severed faux head of the then-president. The fallout was severe, and her career subsequently stalled for several years after. Even liberal comedians shunned the bombastic redhead for her over-the-line photo shoot.
If you are a conservative who runs afoul of the approved narrative, then your career is likely over. However, even though liberals tend to eat their own, if you stick around and display the proper victimhood, eventually, you can come back from cancellation. This is what Griffin has done.
The comedian, who recently took to social media to beg whatever fanbase she has left to come out and support her latest tour, spent the last couple of years playing the victim card after her brazen, disrespectful display regarding the former president. The potty-mouthed comedian, who ironically once shilled for the “Squatty Potty,” took to social media to drum up interest for shows in Iowa and Nebraska.
Her shows weren’t selling well in those particular states, possibly because they are blood Red States that swung decidedly for President Trump in the last two elections. She said: “It’s all about the tour, man. Just freaking get me to opening night in Des Moines. And Omaha is not selling well. First of all, there’s not enough people there.” Griffin has intimated that much of her set will be about President Trump, so it is no surprise her sales are slow in the Heartland.
Griffin, who has complained of suffering from PTSD because of the backlash from the tasteless Trump photos, claims to meow like a cat and moo like a cow during yoga as a way to cope with her condition. She also had a harsh message for Valentine’s Day and any of her remaining fans on Wednesday.
The comedian filed for divorce from her husband, Randy Bick, in December and apparently isn’t dealing with Valentine’s Day very well. She posted on her social media: “I’m getting divorced. Fuck Valentine’s Day and fuck all of you. Did I say that?” She did say that, and although she may have been joking, the former funny-woman perhaps has forgotten what a joke looks like.
The controversial comedian then attempted to garner more sympathy when she said: “Thank God I have three shows this weekend,” She added, “I’m going to make every member of the audience my personal Valentine regardless of sexual orientation.” Indeed, that sounds like the best reason ever not to attend her shows. There are numerous rumors as to why the split happened, but the former President may have played a hand. She said about Bick before they were wed: “My boyfriend, whom I live with and he’s my tour manager as well, you know, his family struggles with him now…they’re Trumpers.”

It is a sad statement that folks are splitting up because of political affiliation. That may not be completely the case with Bick and Griffin, as she is probably difficult to manage on a daily basis, but many folks have lost family and friends over politics. Whatever the reason for Griffin, she is bitter, sales aren’t good, and we may be about to see the last of the bombastic comedian.
