When a car flipped over on the Tampa highway, a young girl was in serious danger but, fortunately for her, former WWE star Hulk Hogan happened to be nearby and was able to rescue her. He apparently witnessed the accident, jumped into action, and rushed to the car where he punctured the airbag and helped get the teenage girl to safety.
News on the accident came from Sky Daily Hogan, his wife. She posted about it on Facebook, explaining the situation and how her husband and a friend of them were able to get to the scene of the accident quickly enough to rescue the girl in the damaged car, adding that the girl was only “rattled” and fortunately unscathed otherwise.
She wrote, “Last night, after we left dinner in Tampa, we saw a car flip in front of us! I truly admire my husband @hulkhogan and our good buddy @jakerask for springing into action, puncturing the girls airbag, and getting her quickly out of the car. By all appearances, she was unscathed, just really rattled, which is an absolute miracle!”
Hulk Hogan, for his part, posted about the incident as well on X. He explained how a ballpoint pen came in critical to saving the girl and then praised the Lord for her fortunate survival. In the post, he said, “The crazy part about the teenager that flipped her car was that without a knife to puncture the airbags to get her out ,a Indian Rocks Christian ballpoint pen came in really handy to pot the bags, thank you God,all is well even now,Amen HH”
Commenting on Hulk Hogan’s post, people referenced his recent baptism and how once one’s eyes are open to God, you start to see him more and more in normal life. One commenter, for example, wrote, “Isn’t amazing the miracles you begin to see EVERY SINGLE DAY you walk with God? My favorite part of being a Christian.”
Similarly, another commenter on the Hulkster’s post wrote, “God bless you Hulk, may Jesus always be with you and your family. You were a hero to me when I was a kid growing up and never listen to any haters. We all have made mistakes and fall short of God’s glory, Jesus loves you and sees the amazing stuff you’re doing! God bless brother.”
As background, Hogan posted a video of himself getting baptized in late December. The video quickly went viral, cheering many who were happy to see another individual in the public eye publically embrace their faith and for that to be so popular.
Writing about his faith online, Hogan said, “I accepted Christ as my savior at 14 years old. The training, prayers, and vitamins kept me in the game, but now that I am one with God, the main event theme of surrender, service, and love makes me the Real Main Event that can slam any giant of any size through the power of my Lord and Savior. And so it is, even now, brother, AMEN!”
