Last weekend, former President Donald Trump hosted a packed, energetic rally in Nevada for thousands of supporters. Lately, Trump’s rallies have garnered massive turnouts as the leading Republican presidential candidate gears up for the upcoming election.
The Nevada rally was hosted at the Reno-Sparks Convention Center, which had a maximum capacity of over 19,000 people. Footage of the event, referred to as the “Commit to Caucus,” shows attendees packed in the event space, wall-to-wall.
Trump expressed sheer enthusiasm to see so many of his energetic supporters in attendance. The former president affirmed to the crowd that they would win the Nevada caucuses before retaking the White House in a rematch against Joe Biden.
“I’m thrilled to be back in your state with THOUSANDS of proud, hardworking American patriots – that’s what you are,” Trump said. “And on Thursday, February 8, we’re going to WIN the Nevada caucuses, [and] we are then going to CRUSH Crooked Joe Biden…next November we’re going to WIN SO BIG it’s going to do something like you’d never seen before.”
Trump further spoke about his Democrat political adversaries and their attempts to thwart his presidential campaign. He alleges President Biden and the Democrats have “weaponized” the justice system in violation of the Constitution to interfere with the election.
“It’s no wonder crooked Joe and the far-left lunatics are desperate to stop us by any means necessary. They’re willing to violate the U.S. Constitution at levels never seen before in order to win. They’re dirty players. They play dirty. They weaponize justice. There are a bunch of dirty players. Look at what they’re doing right here to Michael and great people in this state. It’s a disgrace. Joe Biden is a threat to democracy. They’re weaponizing law enforcement for high-level election interference because we’re beating them so badly in the polls,” Trump said. At any given Trump rally, a large and eager crowd can always be expected. Earlier this year, the American Tribune reported on a massive rally in Pickens, South Carolina, where the total attendance was 1500% larger than the size of the town’s population. The small town of Pickens only has roughly 3,400 residents, whereas the Trump rally pulled in “somewhere between 50-55,000” people, according to local estimates.
“There’s nowhere else I’d rather be to kick off the Fourth of July weekend than right here on Main Street, with thousands of hardworking South Carolina patriots who believe in God, family and country,” Trump told the enormous audience.
Make America Great Again Inc. PAC CEO Taylor Budowich spoke about several examples of the Trump administration representing the interests of conservative Americans. “The Supreme Court decisions ending racist college admissions, protecting religious liberty, and stopping an illegal student loan forgiveness scheme were a reminder of how President Trump kept the promises he made to voters,” Budowich said.
“Mind you, the tens of thousands of patriots that turned out in Pickens, South Carolina did it on a day with temperatures over 90 degrees. The Trump train has left the station and is not stopping until President Trump is seated behind the Resolute Desk,“ Budowich said, noting Trump’s popularity.
