As more and more illegal immigrants enter the city, some of them courtesy of Texas Governor Greg Abbott, and crime rages out of control, normal residents of the Windy City are getting more and more fed up with the state of things under Mayor Brandon Johnson. In fact, some are so fed up that some of those residents, who tend to vote deep blue in every election, said they are open to working with Trump to solve the city’s problems.
That was shown in a video that emerged out of the city in which one individual ranted about the current state of Chicago and the foolishness of identity politics. Beginning, he said, “As black Americans, we’re not African American. We not people of color. We’re not black and brown minority.”
Continuing, he jumped into the illegal immigration issue, saying, “By Pom Pom, none of that. People could know none of that strictness about our people demanding the resources, just as you given these people, these newcomers will walk into this class. It’s just this correct. How do you take a new group of people that have paid no taxes can’t vote and you put them in the front of the boat? I’m not gonna pay him. Okay. So we say this to you, Mayor. Governor, President.”
He then said that they’d be willing to to work with anyone willing to close the border, a clear reference to former President Donald Trump, saying, “If you think that they’re powerful that you have to acquiesce and answer to them, oh, was the UTM to vote for you and support your Democratic National Convention? And we don’t show you how we feel about the Democrats. Thank you. If you think you will have a peaceful democratic national convention in Chicago, what if people saw the state’s own state’s own? Oh, we’re not gonna stand idly by and we ask any of those who we’re about closing borders. We don’t care, Republican, Democrat, or whatever. As long as you’re not closing the borders, we can support you. And anybody who is on open borders, we’re against.” Watch him here:
That wasn’t the only video that emerged. Another video shows the same man more clearly discussing working with Republicans, saying, “If Trump wanna come in town, come and meet with us.” He then went on to lay out additional issues he has with the current way the city is handling illegal immigration, particularly the cost of it. Watch him here:
Chicago recently took a first step toward dealing with the illegal immigration crisis, limiting migrants to 60 days in shelters. Mayor Brandon Johnson, commenting on the matter, said, “This approach that we have right here is to make sure we are addressing the anxiety and fear that people have, whether you are a taxpayer or someone who is seeking asylum in the city of Chicago while speaking to our hopes and aspirations.” However, he added that Chicago would remain a sanctuary city, adding, “We will always be a welcoming city and a sanctuary city.”
