Though the “Let’s Go Brandon” and “F*** Joe Biden” chants at college football games have mostly gone away as inflation has decreased somewhat and people have gotten used to the parade of disappointments and humiliations attendant with the Biden Administration, there’s still a good bit of latent anti-Biden energy out there, even on college campuses.
Such could be seen in an epic video out of the University of Arizona, hardly known as a far-right school, where the rapper “Lil Pump” got the crowd of college kids belting out a thunderous “We Want Trump!” chant during a concert, with the kids going wild as they let it rip.
Predictably, the video blew up on X (formerly Twitter), with conservative personalities posting it and using it to comment on the Biden Administration and where the energy lies headed into 2024. Jason Robertson, for example, wrote, “This is wild! Lil Pump has the crowd in Arizona chanting “We want Trump”. The kids can see that our nation is in serious trouble and President Trump is the answer!“
Similarly, famous X personality “DC Draino” said that the concert and the “We Want Trump” chant shows things will be different in 2024, writing, “Lil Pump got the crowd chanting “We want Trump!” last night at University of Arizona. It’s going to be different this time around.”
Commenting on his post, one individual noted that it would be great for the pro-Trump celebrities to work together and with him to come up with plans to benefit those Americans who are hurting and need help, writing, “I think it would be great to gather these influencers or celebrities that support Trump and get their ideas on how to make America great for their communities. We all need to come together to figure this shit out and promote all American families.”
Other commenters also noted that the video shows energy is growing amongst younger Americans but that it needs to take hold as part of a new culture, saying things like “Yep. Trump support is growing in unexpected places, and I love it” and “I sure hope there’s enough of this new culture to spread conservatism into the youth.”
Still another added that the supposedly conservative Fox News tends not to highlight videos like this that show the massive reservoir of support for Trump, as it doesn’t serve their narrative, writing, “Don’t look for Fox news to be playing this on a loop. It would give the viewers a peak into something other than their “never Trump” narrative.”
Lil Pump came out as pro-Trump during the 2020 election. Trump and the rapper have continued to support one another through this election. Other rappers, such as Kodak Black and Wakka Flocka Flame, have also rallied in support of Trump and his rebellious personality. Mr. Flame, for example, recently posted “Trump 2024” on his Instagram account, throwing his weight and influence with young guys behind the former president headed into 2024.
