Dana White destroyed Peloton for its attempt at canceling Robert F. Kennedy Jr in a recent episode of the Theo Von Podcast. White dismantled the idea that Peloton should be taking such an active stance against a political opponent of Joe Biden and proclaimed that the UFC would now be boycotting the stationary bike brand until they make a change to this absurd stance.
White has been at the center of the culture war in the sports world for a long time now. Starting in the COVID days, he made sure to run his UFC business as a sports league and profit-driven company instead of a social justice machine that also plays sports on the side. Because of this, of course, he is not always seen as a popular figure on the left.
According to Chief Nerd on X, White roasted Peloton for its insistence on being a political brand and did not mince words when noting that the exercise bikes would no longer be permitted in UFC facilities.
White said, “They got a problem with Robert f*cking Kennedy? F*ck you, Peloton!…My guys are going to take the Pelotons out of the gym today. We’re getting rid of them. We’re going to go throw them in the f*cking garbage today!”

Dana White, on the other hand, has done his best to keep the Ultimate Fighting Championship free of politics, at least from the leadership. He has even gone as far as to embrace Donald Trump in UFC audiences and to bring on Bud Light as a sponsor of the league. He truly is willing to work with anyone that will improve his profits.
Speaking about that Bud Light deal, which shocked the internet, White explained that he does not believe that the UFC is making a mistake by joining with America’s most hated beer.
White said, “There’s more to being aligned with a sponsor, a major sponsor like that, for as long as I’m going to be… There are many other things that are important to me other than just the money. And the people that were all involved in this negotiation, on every side, absolutely, positively know that my choice was not determined by money.”
“They were the first beer company that we really did business with. They were our first real big sponsor when we were getting started, and now we’re back with them. I know all the controversy and everything else, but for myself, going into a long-term deal with another sponsor, I want to be with somebody that I’m actually aligned with.”
Time will tell whether that was a good move for White and the UFC, but odds are he was right as he so often has been in the past. Now it is going to be interesting to see how Peloton, an exercise and fitness company, recovers from getting rejected by a major sports league. Only time will tell.
