Recently, former President Donald Trump sounded off on anti-American “pro-jihadist” protestors who “became very violent and started destroying our Capitol and many other places.” During a speech at a Florida rally, Trump also stated these individuals have been put “on notice” and that they will be deported under his administration.
Trump further denounced the violent behavior of these demonstrators who allegedly defaced some of our cherished monuments and landmarks. The former president criticized Joe Biden, bashing his political correctness at a time when the country requires strong leadership. “We have to do things properly,” Trump noted.
“In Washington, DC, pro-jihadist demonstrators climbed up the fence in front of the White House … they damaged the fence and they damaged police vehicles [and] desecrated statues of Ben Franklin and other great heroes of our country, and they shouted Allahu Akbar, while calling the barbaric Hamas terrorists martyrs,” Trump said, explaining that “in times like these, you can’t afford to have a president who wants to be politically correct.”
Trump continued, stating that our executive branch cannot afford to take foreign policy advice from members of the woke “Squad,” comprised of members such as Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-MI), Ilhan Omar (D-MN), and Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). “The Squad” has made headlines recently for their anti-Israel and pro-Palestine stances, where the House of Representatives even voted to censure Rashida Tlaib.
“But that’s a movement that’s growing,” Trump added while vowing to bring back his famous travel ban on entry from select countries on “day one” when he is elected. The leading Republican candidate also expounded upon further “ideological” screenings of all individuals seeking entry into the United States.
Additionally, Trump slammed the Biden administration’s border policy or lack thereof. The former president claimed migrants don’t even bother to attempt legal entry into the country, where they can instead illegally cross with impunity. This is indeed corroborated by the record high illegal crossing encounters reported by Border Patrol.
“And we will implement strict … ideological screening for all new entrants into our country. We don’t do that at all. Now, anybody can come in. Anybody can come in. When people want to go and take the test, ‘Where do I learn to take the test?’ People say to them, ‘You don’t have to take any tests. Just go to the southern border and walk in, you don’t have to bother.’ … We had a good strong policy. We wanted people to come to our country but we wanted them to come in legally,” Trump said.
Trump doubled down, maintaining that he would deport these non-residents who express anti-Israel sentiment and side with terrorism. “If you hate America, if you want to abolish Israel, if you sympathize with jihadists, then we don’t want you in our country, and we are not going to let you come into our country,” he said. “To all the resident aliens who joined in the pro-jihadist protests” who “became very violent and started destroying our Capitol and many other places, we put you on notice. Come 2025, we will find you, and we will deport you,” he emphasized.
