It seems as if President Slow Joe Biden has somehow run this once-great nation into the ground time and time again despite his disaster of a presidency having lasted only about a year and a half. Time and time again, he’s made what many Americans see as being the wrong decision, with the results, from Bidenflation to the despondency of the American populace, speaking for themselves.
Yet worse, Americans can’t even try to reason or confront Biden over all those issues. Rather than listening to criticism and adjusting based on it, he just points the finger and blames someone else, normally Trump, Putin, or “greedy” companies.
Heck, there was even an instance of people trying to tell the first lady just how bad things are, with her responding by saying “thanks for the support!”
Meanwhile, Democrats nationwide have gotten even more radical than they were under trump in regard to what policies they promote, pushing radical ideas on schoolchildren and otherwise making Americans more than a bit uncomfortable with what’s going on. From the “groomer” issue brought to the fore in Florida to the radical spending proposals of the likes of AOC, the far-left agenda of Democrats is irking many an American.
And so things are starting to “boil over” for furious Americans, as a shocking, highly worrisome poll just found: according to a survey from the University of Chicago’s Institute of Politics, about a third of America says that it’s time to take up arms against the American government.
In all, 33% of Republicans, 35% of independents, and 20% of Democrats say it may soon be time for them to take down the U.S. government.
And when the other results of the poll are examined, the reason why becomes clear.
A majority of the American people – both Republicans and Democrats – told the U of Chicago pollsters that they believe the government is “corrupt and rigged against everyday people like me.”
That’s not a good sign, as it points to serious disillusionment about the state of America.
And it gets worse: the back and forth fighting has led to a situation where over 70% of both Republicans and Democrats say the other party “are generally bullies who want to impose their political beliefs on those who disagree” and 49% said they “more and more feel like a stranger in my own country.”
Again, those are very bad signs, with the sentiment they lead to being shown by posts such as this one on Twitter:
Oh, I guarantee It's way more than that. Imagine everyone who doesn't take polls. This is the Government that our Founding Fathers warned us about. 👇👇👇https://t.co/lsXYUPmnqZ

Perhaps those who responded to the poll are just full of bluster and don’t actually intend on taking up arms or fighting a civil war. We can at least hope that that’s the case and peace can reign.
But America hasn’t seen civil war in many decades, or even a real war in nearly three-quarters of a century, so perhaps the lesson that, as Winston Churchill put it, “to jaw-jaw is always better than to war-war” has been forgotten.
Either way, the level of anger exposed by the poll is highly worrisome, as it points ever more toward a conflagration that could bring down these not very United States.
However bad Biden is, turning America into Syria or Sarajevo would be far worse. Hopefully the third of America itching for war wakes up to that before it’s too late.
