Tiffany Cross, a controversial political commentator who is frequently criticized as engaging in anti-white racism, was recently axed by MSNBC, with Variety reporting that:
“MSNBC decided not to renew Cross’ contract after two years, according to one of these people, and severed ties with her immediately. A rotating group of anchors will lead her weekend hours until a replacement is found, and the production staff assigned to her show are believed to be likely to stay in place.
“There has been speculation that Cross’ relationship with MSNBC was becoming frayed, according to two of these people, with executives at the network growing concerned about the anchor’s willingness to address statements made by cable-news hosts on other networks and indulging in commentary executives felt did not meet the standards of MSNBC or NBC News.”
Her firing came just a few weeks after FNC’s Tucker Carlson ripped into her for pushing anti-white racism, saying, after playing clips of Cross and her guests speaking ill of white people generally:
“You have to ask yourself, why are they putting this on the air? Why are they allowing this? This is not a policy debate, these are open attacks on people– on Americans, purely on the basis of their race.”
Watch Tucker blast her to bits here:
Well, now they’re not allowing it to air…MSNBC is done with Tiffany, though whether her anti-white racism, recent, lewd comment that “d*ck of the country,” or some combination thereof is to blame for her firing is unclear.
BizPacReview, giving more examples of Cross’ anti-white racism and lewd comments, noted that:
During her tenure at the network, Cross’s racism made her show a must-watch for like-minded haters but, in an election year, her disgusting rhetoric dramatically intensified with shameful attacks on successful black conservatives including Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas to whom she gave the vulgar nickname “Justice Pubic Hair on My Coke Can” as well as former NFL star and Senate hopeful Herschel Walker, whom she suggested suffered from mental issues.
She also drew criticism for blaming the NFL’s issues of recent concussions to players on institutional racism and a “bunch of white owners, white coaches and the complete disregard of black bodies and black life,” while misidentifying Miami Dolphins’ Samoan quarterback Tua Tagovailoa as being black.
Last month, Fox News host Tucker Carlson likened the hateful racist rhetoric constantly spewed by Cross to dehumanize white people to Radio Télévision Libre des Mille Collines, the Rwandan television station that put out propaganda that was credited with being a major factor in the 1994 Rwandan genocide, one of the most savage and bloody periods in world history during which hundreds of thousands of people were murdered, many of them hacked to death with machetes.
In any case, her formerly fellow MSNBC host, Joy Reid, lashed out after Cross’ firing, saying:
“Before I go, I really do want to say one quick thing about my friend, colleague, and sister Tiffany Cross. She’s not just my friend, she is my sister. I love her. I support her. I was boosting for her to get the show that she created, ‘The Cross Connection’ which she put her heart and soul into every day.”
“And I just want to say that those on the far-right who are attacking her on a social media app that I won’t name, you don’t understand how sisters move. So, watch this space. We will be here, her sisters will be here to support anything Tiffany Cross ever does. Know that. Believe that.”
