“Sound of Freedom” star Jim Caviezel, the actor who also played Jesus in Mel Gibson’s “Passion of the Christ,” is all on board the Trump train because he sees Trump as the “new Moses” who was “selected by God” to fight back against human and child trafficking.
The comment about Trump being selected by God to wage war on God’s enemies, most particularly child traffickers, came when Caviezel appeared on Real America’s Voice, a conservative podcast, and spoke about the depraved depths of the human trafficking industry and biblical parallels.
During his appearance on that podcast in mid-July for an interest meant to raise interest in the then-recently released movie, Caviezel said, “I believe Donald Trump was selected by God Almighty, and I’m talking about the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit God.”
Caviezel made many similar comments about the matter. In one tweet, posted after Trump raised awareness for “Sound of Freedom” by screening it at his Bedminster, New Jersey golf club, the actor praised Trump as a Moses-like figure who would set God’s children free.
He said, in the tweet, “President Trump is going to save Children the likes of which you have never seen! You might even say he is the new Moses telling Pharaoh (World Cabal) to let the children Go Free! Mr. President …. You are The “New” Moses!… but I’m still Jesus 😉 ”
In addition to tweeting about Trump being Moses-like, Caviezel made a similar remark during an appearance on Fox News. During the interview with FNC’s Brian Kilmeade, Caviezel said that Trump is the new Moses, a remark to which Kilmeade had trouble responding. As stated during that video clip, Caviezel told Kilmead, “We have to do a lot more. And we got to start with Donald Trump.” Kilmeade asked, “What do you mean?” to which Cavaziel responded by saying, “Well, he’s got to be in there because he’s gonna go after the traffickers.”
Kilmeade pressed on that, asking, “Do you think he would? Do you think he understands that?” Caviezel said that he does, telling the Fox News host, “We were with him last night. ..This is the new Moses. I mean, I’m still Jesus, but he’s the new Moses. Pharaoh let my children go free.”
Kilmeade had trouble replying, saying, “All right. I did not know… that was an impressive screening at Bedminster. I guess, Eduardo Jim Caviezel. Oh, great to see again. Congratulations on the success. I can’t say I’m surprised, but I know how intense you are…Meanwhile, thanks, America watch sounds of freedom in theaters and pay it forward by buying movie tickets for those that can afford them at angel.com/pay-it-forward.”
