Vice President Kamala Harris appeared on ABC News for an interview with reporter Linsey Davis, who took the opportunity to ask Kamala about her abysmally bad approval ratings, a fact of Kamala’s time as VP that was suspected by many and revealed in a recent NBC News poll. Kamala, predictably, tried down downplay the poll’s dismal results and claimed that she really has “great” approval ratings.
The NBC News poll, for reference, said, “Data Download: The number of the day is … 32%. That’s the share of registered voters in a new NBC News poll who say they have a positive view of Vice President Kamala Harris. That’s compared with 49% who have a negative view of her, including 39% who have a ‘very negative’ view.”
Continuing, the report added that Kamala’s net negative result is the worst ever for the poll, saying, “Harris’ net-negative rating (-17) is the lowest for any vice president in the poll’s history.” That means Kamala is doing worse than Dick Cheney…at the height of the Iraq War…after he shot someone while quail hunting.
So, even NBC News’ leftist reporter Linsey Davis asked her about it, asking, “There are reports that say you have the lowest approval rating of any vice president. I’m curious — how much of a role, if any, that you feel race and gender play in that?”
Kamala awkwardly responded with a big smile stuck on her face, claiming that other polls show she really has “great approval ratings” and that the bad news is just one of the “distractions” meant to throw up a roadblock for the Biden Administration. She claimed, “Well, there are polls that also say I have great approval ratings. I think the point that has to be made is that there are attempts to create distractions away from the accomplishments of our administration.”
She then went on to give examples of the Biden Administration’s supposed success, saying, “We’ve created over 13 million jobs since we’ve been in office. Joe Biden and I have been responsible for 800,000 new manufacturing jobs in the United States, not to mention what we have done to restore America’s integrity on the international stage.”

In addition to her rock-bottom approval rating, Kamala has faced heat for her attacks on Florida’s history curriculum, claiming that it replaces “history with lies” and that, under it, students are “told that enslaved people benefited from slavery.”
Dr. William Allen, who helped create the curriculum, told Fox News Digital, “I wish I could answer for the motives of the media or for the vice president. I’m not able to do that. But I can tell you this contextually — it is obviously part of a larger effort driven by an agenda.”
In reality, the curriculum teaches that slavery was a moral wrong and led to often horrific conditions, but that also “slaves developed skills which, in some instances, could be applied for their personal benefit” both when they were enslaved and when they later became free. Despite that being largely true, the curriculum has faced repeated, continual attacks.
